I have nothing but good things to say about Nick's! They're professional, efficient, and welcoming; I'll definitely come back here if I have any more car problems.
Needed a brake pad and rotor replacement and they fit me in within a few days of calling. I dropped my car off in the morning, they called back a bit later with an explanation and quote before starting any work, and finished repairs by end of day. Was easy to bus back there to pick the car up the next day since it's along several bus routes. Car drives and brakes super smoothly now.

Brought my car in for a clutch replacement in January. They replaced the clutch and I ended up having this loud banging sound from the day I took it back. I brought it back for them to look at and I was assured it was just clutch chatter from it being a new clutch. 2 months later still having this sound, I took my car to another garage to have some other work done and when they took off the heat shield, they found that the drive shaft wasn’t bolted back on after the clutch was replaced. I dealt with this horrible noise for about 2 months and was told that it was the casing for my transmission that needed to be replaced.
I also had some warranty work done which required a few suspension parts to be replaced. They did a good job with this minus it taking almost 2 months to get the warranty work refunded to me.
I still have clutch chatter pretty bad due to them using cheap parts or not resurfacing the flywheel properly so I will most likely need to replaced the clutch again if I want it to be done properly.
Each time I had to leave my car there for about a week. I suggested to do the diagnostic and give me the car back until the warranty company had approved everything but they insisted on keeping the car, leaving me without a vehicle to get to work for about 2 weeks.
Not the best experience here but I will say that Nick is a very nice guy and easy to deal with. I appreciate the willingness to help me with the warranty work but things could have been done a bit better.
Response to the owner: my name on here is not anonymous, my last name is Hardy, not saucier. Not sure how that is so hard to understand as I even signed my name a few times on the papers you have.
Your garage is the only garage that has taken that long to get the warranty paid for by the company. I saw little to no effort when it came to contacting them. Every time I called the warranty company to see what was going on, they said they had reached out to you with no answer. I had called plenty of times and had no answer as well. To say that I’m lucky you didn’t charge extra for that is silly. You run a business…It’s not my fault you don’t have anyone dedicated to answering the phone and doing admin work. That’s on you.
As for the issue with the noise - I had this issue the day I picked up the car and I even called you to explain this. I remember bringing the car back to you while it was happening and you drove it and heard the noise pretty clearly. It would have taken maybe 10-15 minutes to throw it on the hoist and remove the heat shield covering it to see what was going on. Had you done that extra step to take a look at it, none of this would have happened. Next time if a customer is calling you complaining about a sound like that, put it on the hoist and check it out.

Very happy: not just that my repair was done well at a fair cost, but also that I’ve found a new shop that I feel I can trust with my two older vehicles. My regular garage closed down recently, as I discovered when the rear brake line on my 2010 Toyota Prius started leaking. I got two quotes from two garages that had good ratings here. The quotes were similar and included 2 hours labour, but at Nick’s I spoke directly to Scott, who did the work and showed me the problem. He also said he would do both sides for that price, since we could both see that the other side was also rusted out and would likely go soon. When I asked the other garage about doing both sides, they said it would add an hours labour and double material, which would have increased my cost by almost $150. Scott was friendly and knowledgeable and I will have confidence returning here for my next repair.
