Excellent experience today at Michael Hill Bayshore, Paula was patient and super knowledgeable pointing me in the right direction and comparing a few items landing on a beautiful Gold necklace for my girlfriend. Thankyou very much Paula and will see you again 5 stars ? !

Slimy people who will rip you off every chance they get! My mother returned a bracelet that was bought as a gift. She wanted a silver necklace which would be easier for her to put on instead. Two women kept bringing her necklaces until she found the length she wanted. After no refund was received for the bracelet I called the store and was informed that no refund was in place. My Mom bought a white gold necklace instead of the silver. No one ever mentioned it was white gold. We would have returned it but it was a gift that was already given. Avoid this place, there are better places to spend your money!!

Professional staff member served me. There was no pressure and I felt like a valued customer. The value was good and the piece I bought was beautiful.

I have bought beautiful golden hoop earrings at Michael Hill store in Bayshore Mall, Ottawa. Ladies at the store were brilliant in helping my daughter find what she likes. I will go back to the same store for our next occasion purchase and recommend the exceptional service we received.

The women who work here are rude, aggressive and on a power trip. I went in to look at wedding bands, and had arguably the worst experience ever. I was told I couldn’t look at more than one ring at a time and that was their policy. I wanted to compare different styles of rings so I asked the associate to leave one ring out, so I can look at it against another. She refused, was incredibly rude and insisted that was their policy. I have been to Tiffany’s, Birks and Howard’s and all of these fine jewelry stores let me look at more than 1 ring at a time. The associate who helped me was rude, disinterested and didn’t even believe I was going to buy a ring. I walked out and told her that Birks allowed me to see more than one ring and she said that’s Birks and this is Michael Hill. I think she failed to realize that Michael Hill is a much lower caliber jeweler. This woman then chased and followed me out of the store, was aggressive towards me and yelled at me. I’ve never seen such a ridiculous display in my life. This store really needs new sales people. The women that work there are delusional and need a good training on customer service and how to behave in public. I have been to Michael Hill stores in Toronto, and none of them had this apparent policy. The manager and the associate made up a fake policy to cover up their unacceptable behavior. Avoid the store at all costs. I would never step foot in there again.

Everything has been great dealing with the staff at Michael Hill Bayshore. Everyone was super helpful and guided me on my purchases. Would definitely shop here again!

Horrible customer service. The lady at Bayshore is extremely rude. She was on the phone for 15 minutes and couldn't care less, there were customers waiting for service. I had to wait because I was picking up a ring. After waiting, she was extremely rude. Never again will I buy anything from Michael Hill. So many people has posted these negative reviews, and nothing has changed there.

My husband purchased me a Gold bracelet and I didn’t wear it right away. It broke in 3 days after I started wearing and it was more than 3 months since the date of purchase so they wouldn’t cover in warranty. So they charged him $75 to fix it. He brought it back to me and I wore it. Guess what, it broke in 3 days again where at the same spot where they had fixed it. The manager Paula apparently was on a world tour and I couldn’t get hold her obviously and the assistant manager Huda was supposed to help me. They didn’t call me back. And I had to drive back and forth for 3 weeks then once the manager highness was back from the WORLD TRIP, she was apparently in a good mood and exchanged with the exact same bracelet. And she was telling me it would break if you wear everyday. I mean I don’t wanna get the exact same thing again knowing it would break. And I lost the $75 on top of it that I paid to fix. It doesn’t make sense to me that they can’t tell this while they sell you the product. They have the worst customer service. We bought a lot of rings including wedding and engagement ones yet they treat you like garbage. I wouldn’t recommend those old ladies working there. Don’t expect them to be sweet to you when you have issues.

Purchased a silver chain online. Quality was not great. Tried to return at bayshore mall and I was there almost an hour and they couldn't do the return. I contacted Michael Hill online and was told to pay to ship it back or go back to the store to try and return again. Will not purchase from them again. Would recommend people jewellers or charms.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would.Management is terrible.Sales staff are very dismissive.Save yourself a huge headache and go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service! Recently bought a chain and it started turning black. Brought it in to see if something could be done and the lady said that it must have been worn in a hot tub (always taken off when going in water or any activities where it may get wet) the lady continued to tell me i was wrong and that i wore it in a hot tub, and I would have to pay for it to be fixed.Not at all impressed with service will definitely not be buying anything further from this company! Awful customer service!

Such a wonderful experience! We just replaced my wedding band and engagement ring after many years...Beverly made it such a great experience, and we really couldn't be happier. I love my ring and will send anyone I can to this store. Ask for Bev :)
