I'm pleasantly surprised. Bright and very clean store with nicely displayed products. The promotional prices were competitive and in line with other local discount stores. I was impressed by the wide range of products, which also include higher quality items. I've been avoiding Loblaws for several months due to their high prices, but this NoFrills I will be visiting from time to time.

I bought Schneider bacon at Food Basics for $4.99 and noticed it at No Frills displayed near the entry for $8.99. Signage for what is in each aisle is poor,wasted time trying to find tinned fruit. Dairy, milk specifically, has always been dodgy in this store regardless of how they brand themselves. I don't find their prices are competitive and I prefer FreshCo across the street for both price and variety.

Nothing is ever stocked, never any fresh meat. All the other grocery stores on merivale seem to be able to stay stocked. Miss the old independent. At least there is a Metro near by

Went there today, fresh meat section was completely empty. Like zero... I will not be returning.

Absolutely terrible compared to the old independent. Sure, independent is pricey but at least you could trust the produce, things were in stock and the place was clean. Now the meat section is basically empty, the produce is rotting with lots of fruit flies and the whole store is dirty. What a bad change.

This place just makes grocery shopping a lot more tolerable. It's spacious, but that's about it. The produce section needs work. The organic onions and garlic were old/dehydrated, the berries were either moldy/not fresh. The bread section was great and I love how they price match. They have some great Ambrosia apples and mandarines better than Farm Boy. So you'll definitely find some things are far better at this store than others. Customer service is excellent, too.
