This is a horrible place. The cashiers are rude, have so much bad attitude, they are unfriendly, disrespectful, I can go on forever. Why go spend money at a place where the cashiers feel too important to attend to customers with excellence. The cashiers clearly don’t want to be there and they take it out on customers. I have been there twice now and same experience each time. Avoid this place!

I recently discovered Homesense on Merivale and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Their collection of elegant items at reasonable prices is a gem. I recently purchased a beautiful bench that not only looks stunning but is also incredibly comfortable. The staff at this location are fantastic - they're helpful, knowledgeable, and truly enhance the shopping experience. I highly recommend Homesense on Merivale to anyone looking for stylish home decor and excellent customer service.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I just visited this location to pick up a chair my wife purchased an hour prior. I walk in to the store and there are 2 cashiers and a customer at each cash, no one in the lineup. The closest cashier to me is a woman, Sonia. She looks over at me and I hold up the receipt for the item I am here to pickup. She says that she is with a customer and I will have to wait, of course. I walk and join the lineup. Of course I would have to be called up to Sonia's cash where I hand over the receipt. I say to her that my hope was that she would have quickly direct me to someone who could help me with my pick-up and I say I could clearly see that she was helping another customer. She then shrugs her shoulders and puts her hands out and says, "I'm so sorry, sorry; I can't read your mind" Wow, that enraged me. I grabbed the receipt off the counter and stood to the side and asked for the manager. I stood waiting and nothing happened. The other gentleman cashier took the receipt and announced that an hour earlier had helped my wife with the purchase of this chair. He retrieved the chair and brought it to me. I repeated to him that I was so not OK with the way Sonia had spoken to me. He said, it's OK, it's going to be OK. It was not OK. I noted Sonia's name tag and told her she had a good review coming. She look unphased.
I left with the chair and returned home to tell my wife about this extremely negative encounter with Sonia. My wife then states that when she made the purchase Sonia was alone at cash and was without a customer picking at her nails, not a care in the world that a customer had to be served. The gentleman cashier who at the time was stacking shelves sees that my wife is not being attended to and rushes over to help. So in one morning Sonia has upset 2 customers and I just can't believe she is in the field of Customer Service/Care. What a useless and rude employee

Clean and tidy store, there are many products at really good prices. If you come across an item that interests you, don't hesitate otherwise it can be difficult to find them. This was my case with an Ooni pizza oven much cheaper than in other brands, I hesitated and unfortunately I was unable to find one

Love the actual stuff in the store but very tired of these stickers that are impossible to get off. I’m sure you have your reasons but not going to be quick to purchase things i the future from here when I know I’m gonna spend the same time as installing something as getting a superglued sticker off of it.
