I am utterly disappointed by my experience with Bella Boutique today. I phoned to inquire about what brand names or style of clothing the boutique likes to receive, as I have 6 large 102L bins full of organized and labeled brand name clothing. They asked what brands I have and I listed off: Guess, BCBG, MK, Prada, Cristian Dior, banana republic, Lulu lemon, etc. In the middle of me listing the names of my products I was hung up on.
I then called the store back to confirm if they were interested in my business, but was spoken to in the most rude / aggressive / abrasive/ disrespectful manner. To the point that I’m leaving this review. I was very rudely dismissed, advised that they’re not accepting any more product and to try in the fall. Only to then be hung up on again.
The store associate’s behaviour disgusted me. This is not the world that I live in. I surround myself with kindness and she was extremely toxic. To note that my mother, as well as my neighbour were with me during this call, which was placed on speakerphone. They were SHOCKED to say the least.

I called Bella’s to inquire about a dress they had on consignment. The lady who answered the phone (not the owner) was utterly rude. She was unfamiliar with the dress I was asking about despite me giving her the dress name and store item number. I asked if she could please pass me to the owner as I had spoke with the owner previously about the dress. Twice the same lady came back on the phone and refused to pass the phone to the manger. The lady told me the dress was returned to the consigner (dress owner) as it never sold. I asked if they could contact the consigner to see if they would still sell the dress and the lady told me they don’t have her number, which made no sense to me since as a consigner you have an account at the store with your contact information. I was shocked at their refusal to even try to put any effort into helping me. When I finally got to speak with the owner she was reluctant to help and only asked if I knew 100% I wanted the dress; as if helping a customer AND client of hers wouldn’t be worth her time. I offered my number to her and said she can just pass it to the owner if it is not worth her time. Well, she refused that idea because it may not make her money, instead of considering that a customer and client will bring back more business AND I would have given her a kickback and more business had they been willing to try and help. Clearly a business owner out for herself and has no true desire to help her clients and customers out. This always surprises me of small business owners who want to get their name out and have good word of mouth. I won’t be supporting a business that operates with such a mindset and I have let my mother know, who frequents the store often, that I don’t know how she has supported such rude staff and an owner who tolerates such rude staff. It is evident this is an issue now that I have read the other reviews here. So, to the lady who was trying to sell her New dark navy blue SorellaVita dress at this store, you are welcome to message me as I would rather pay the $249 to you directly than support this store. Worst of it all, the owner had said she took this dress on consignment for her friend. Doesn’t seem to me this owner is much of a friend in return.UPDATE: I just received a phone call from the store owner YELLING at me for having left this review. She said “I can’t believe you have the audacity to leave a one star review after the tough time we have had through COVID”. I am beside myself that I would get verbally yelled at for providing an honest review of my experience. Perhaps she should have taken a moment to pause and consider her words before unprofessionally having an absolute fit over the phone. There are many ways the outcome of this could have been different. Including the owner having professionally discussed my concerns instead of ripping me apart - I might then have provided a very different update than this one.2nd UPDATE To the store owner’s reply: This owner is clearly gravely mistaken on what went on during the phone call with myself and her employee. Never would I ask for a business to give out their client’s personal information, I think that is evident as it directly contravenes the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act which the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada sets out as ground rules for how businesses subject to the law must handle personal information… on top of the “company policy” she included in her reply. I offered my own personal information to the owner and asked her (at my own request), to pass along my information to the consigner in the event the consigner still wanted to sell since the owner did not seem eager to help with the transaction herself. This is actually my first google review ever, and let me tell you, I wouldn’t be wasting my time providing this review for others if I wasn’t truly and sincerely put off by the rudeness of the staff and owner. I would also add that the other reviews that mention the rude nature of the staff at this store back up my experience. Thank you.

Small unique consignment store with some good to great designer labels. It is not overcrowded like some other consignment stores I have been in. Merchandise is nicely displayed. Staff are courteous, helpful and quite cheery.

Very professional store. The two owners were extrermly kind, and very welcoming when i first entered the store. I had a phenominal experience coming to this store, as I could buy numerous gifts for my family for Christmas at an affordable price. I am totally coming back to this store and I 10/10 recommend.

Lovely shop owned by two phenomenal ladies. Staff is exemplary, patient and accommodating. Wonderfully curated shop, and they're now featuring goods from local small businesses as well. I have been both a consignor and shopper, almost from Day 1!
