We had the pleasure of dealing with Devon who was able to help us rectify a mistake we made when ordering. I have to admit I was not at all pleased with the service at head office but after working with Devon will be referring people to the Merivale road location of Bath Depot.

I purchased a medicine cabinet and installed it, only to discover afterward that it had prior damage inside. It appears that someone had previously repaired or patched it. I contacted customer service within the 72-hour return window from when I picked it up, but they informed me that there was nothing they could do. I feel like I was sold a refurbished product and am extremely disappointed with how customer service handled the situation.

I have recently been updating the large family bathroom and needed a new 61 inch double sink countertop. Looking at the Bath Depot web site, saw a couple of countertops and decided to go directly to the store. Sarah Mohsn was very knowledgeable when we discussed the two different products quarts and polymarble countertops. I felt the better product for this busy room would be the quarts. Once the countertop was purchased Sarah mention and emailed the line of faucets that were also available but we had already purchased faucets a few months ago. Looking back on the service I received was impressive, Sarah answered all the questions I had, we discussed the difference in the materials of the countertop. Sarah was very pleasant to deal with, if I emailed a question I’d receive an answer within 3-5 minutes. I will certainly mention this company to others and I will be back.

How would you like me to share my information? On Google? lol who is this person notified “ in charge” ? How about you call the Nepean location and get someone from head office or customer service to reach out to me instead ? Maybe ask for Jordan, he’ll know who I am.
I purchased new shower assemblies for my new build. When I had my plumber there to install it, opened one box it was an old returned product that was damaged… they got me a new one eventually but it was slightly frustrating. Fast forward 18 months and here’s a photo of my faucet. I clean with non harsh cleaners as I have a septic and it’s the worst product iv purchased for my new house. Also the toilets I get there all run non stop. I emailed them and there’s nothing they can do about the paint and rust starting on my product. Cheap product.

Had a very positive experience with Devon. He helped me coordinate the purchasing and pickup of bathroom renovation supplies from both this location, and Montreal location. Refreshing having employees take pride in their work like this. Would highly recommend.

We bough a shower kit and it was missing the hardware, when we went back to store, the gentleman who helped us (Jordan) showed an amazing professionalism and respect in resolving the issue. Kudo to such a nice person.

Buyer Beware: if you have to return an item be aware that you will be charged a "re-stocking fee" of between 10-30% which will be applied at the arbitrary discretion of the store manager. I purchased an in stock vanity sink directly from the store (ie. not on-line), which I attempted to return 3 days later. The only "damage" was that the tape to the box had been undone. This was sufficient for the manager to deduct a 10% 're-stocking' fee. I had not been told this at the time of purchase. The store manager told me that it was in the "terms and conditions" referred to on the receipt I received after purchase, and which he suggested I should have read on-line prior to purchasing. In fact the store manager suggested he was doing me "a favour" by only charging me 10% when he could have charged me 30%. His smug attitude and rude behaviour was beyond anything I have ever experienced. While the products at Bath Depot perfectly suit a modest reno we are doing at our cottage, I will not risk being subjected to this same experience again.

Very bad experience at this store. Tried to return a defective product. Would not work properly when it was installed. They would not stand by their goods. Only wanted to do an exchange. Sales staff was rude, unhelpful and snide. Even with the original receipt, refused to process the return.

Don’t make our mistake!
We purchased new cabinets and countertops from here. After a month of day to day use, the “porcelain” countertop is scratching. My previous porcelain countertop of 30+ years NEVER did this. They were kind and offered 50% off a new countertop, but clearly we will not be doing this as it’s cheap quality and most likely will happen again. The expression of “you get what you pay for” is very true! Spend the extra few hundred dollars and purchase from Home Hardware!

I have had great service from this location. They walked me around the store detailing all the features, colors etc that would work best for my renovation. The deals were also decent. Ask for Jordan very knowledgeable and responds back very quick

We ordered a 24" vanity online from bath depot. When we went to put it together there was a large chip in it. So we packed it in the car and headed to the nearest store only to be told to call an online contact (which was closed). I asked why I they couldn't just return it and get a new one, the customer service rep said it wasn't his problem and he can't always believe customers when they something is broken. I mentioned this was poor customer service and he bluntly said no. I was also told that online would only replace or give store credit (but not refund)- for something that is broken! Unbelievable. Almost every other store lets you order online and return in-store. Now I'm worried about my other items I ordered which I won't know if there is a problem until the contractor gets to it.Update: I have managed to get the item exchanged with much kinder salespeople at the store. However, we were informed that we are no longer welcome to do any future business with this location because of this google review.
