As a member, the club has been an all purpose, all season slice of serenity and natural beauty. Fishing, campfires, friendships, a place to work, relax, and eat, it provides so much for the whole family. And the staff are deeply committed to the members and the environment! A very good choice!

I remember the thrill of catching my first fish, a beautiful Rainbow Trout, at the Franklin Club back in 1967. Many thanks to my old friends the Mahoney family. The Club is wonderful.

Established in 1909, The Franklin Club is a year round fly fishing, spin fishing, ice fishing club for all anglers in the Toronto area. Members, including spouses are encouraged to invite their families and friends to participate in a wide range of outdoor activities available at The Franklin Club. Located forty-five minutes north of Toronto, near the town of Mount Albert, The Franklin Club is a member-owned, private recreational fishing club specializing in spin casting and fly-fishing for rainbow and speckled trout in our lake and two ponds.
