A few dogs too. Supports the community and gives large donations to Sick Kids Hospital. The bigger stores can't compare.”
“I just had one of my best experiences at a pet store, ever. I am so used to going into a pet store and being bombarded with opinions and statistics where I find myself wishing I could just grab what I needed and leave. But this place was literally the exact opposite. I was kindly greeted by David who was just the friendliest human ever. He showed me what I needed and then let me do my own thing! The first thing I noticed was the NZ natural pet food company which I have never seen in stores— only online. As well as the Felix Flora probiotics!! But the reason I was there is because they had whole freeze dried green lipped mussels available in store. Most stores have them in a powder form but I really prefer them whole so I can crush them up myself. It’s great for me as I would exclusively order these products online and now I don’t have to! But the best part about this tiny but mighty store, is the service. Not only did David answer all of our questions without hesitation but he also expertly advised us on the rewards program! Where as other stores tell you that if you buy 12 of one product you get one free. Trailblazers uses your phone number to automatically keep track of how many you buy, so the 12th one is free when you come to buy your 12th product, organically. It is an incredible system that should be adopted by all pet stores. Obviously the other guys don’t care as much as Tailblazers does. But above all, David made sure we got the full experience. I was also added to the email list and given a 10 dollar coupon to use on my next purchase. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be going to any other pet store from now on!!!!”
“Was just in to the REN’s pets location on Rodeo Dr Mississauga and wow the staff were great. A happy energetic sales lady was just the person I’d like dealing with. 10/10 and hard to find Barbercide was in stock bonus. I’ll be back!”

“Last day of in person shopping was yesterday (Sunday, October 29, 2023) as the owner, Kathleen, is moving to Western Canada. You can still order online on the website and she can deliver through shipping.Although we can still interact with Kathleen over email and Facebook, she and her birds will be missed tremendously. She is a human encyclopedia on birds and has helped me numerous times over the years with questions for my bird. Her store was so convenient to drop by to buy supplies for my bird ranging from food to toys to all types of cages and stand for a reasonable price. You could see in person exactly what you were getting for your bird. Kathleen and her birds especially the staple Eclectus in front of her store greeting you hi as you are shopping will be missed tremendously.Good luck Kathleen with the next chapter of your life!! We will miss you here in Toronto.”

“I recently picked up keeping fish as a hobby again after a 15-20 year gap. I’d visited half a dozen fish stores to check out livestock and general tank inspo. When I entered this shop I immediately felt a sense of calm that I didn’t feel in many of the other stores. The tanks are all really clean and well maintained, the fish all look happy and healthy. Uncle checked my water and gave me some really solid advice. I especially liked that he wasn’t trying to sell me any bottles of chemicals or anything, just practical tips on how to manage my aquarium naturally. I will definitely be back, this is my favourite shop so far!”
“I recently moved to Mississauga from Vancouver and I was having trouble feeding my Maltese for weeks. I tried all the other recommended diets but my dog was being extremely picky. I decided to look up a Raw diet and stumbled upon Wolf Raw Food.The list of ingredients that went into the dog food really impressed me and it was conveniently located near square one where I lived so I decided to give them a try.The service and prices were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, the variety of foods and treats are perfect for all dogs.I started with the premium mix and chicken feet as a sample to see if my Maltese would like it. My doggo loved every bite.Wolf Raw Food has not only helped me put my dog on a regular eating routine but my Maltese truly enjoys her food, it’s a great way to get started with your doggo if you haven’t fed a raw diet before. It’s very similar to canned dog food, it’s excellently blended and you can see all the ingredients. The treats are also very generously priced and the quantity is amazing.Wolf Raw Food also has great presentation and really puts thought into the packaging and most of all they add free samples to the orders so I was able to get my dog to try and start eating liver bites/duck wings/ chicken feet/ and even different blends of their Raw food. My Maltese loves it and I can see her coat getting better, teeth getting whiter, energy levels increasing. Thank you so much for everything and I hope others can try and see the benefits for their doggos.”

“Regularly come here to use the dog wash. It's always clean, everything is generally in great working order (sinks, dryers) and well stocked with shampoo and conditioner. And my dog always gets a treat from the friendly staff that work here! If there are a few small things I need to pick up for my dog they generally have an option. They have plenty of dog food and snack options, even a small raw section.”

My big sister Boo just wanted to watch me.. kinda creepy.

“I went in with a friend who was getting her cat's food. The staff was friendly and willing to help. I did a mini tour, I got to meet some cats that were up for adoption. You can tell when individuals really love their jobs the dude was so excited to show us the cats. It was my first time ever being in a Petsmart. I was really intrigued, the best part of my visit was the grooming area and seeing the dogs being groomed.”

“I recently visited this location the second time and unfortunately both the time it was store closing time. However the staff was extremely helpful and patient and did not force me to leave. I made some corrections in the form but that didn’t irritate them or delay my fish packaging. The best part was the staff actually let my kids select the fishes and showed excitement during the process.
The collection of fishes is really great. They were very honest about the fishes that were marked “not for sale” currently and didn’t push any unhealthy stuff. It didn’t feel like I was in a big sticker aquarium store. The fishes are doing great even after a month and I will be visiting soon to get more stuff. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.”
