I had an extremely frustrating experience with this repair shop. The technicians are unprofessional and lack expertise. I visited three times trying to resolve issues with my tires, but every visit ended in disappointment. None of the problems—air leakage, imbalance, and other issues—were properly fixed.
It’s clear they attempt to take advantage of customers who are not familiar with car repairs. Their dishonesty is appalling, and they seem more focused on misleading customers than providing quality service. I strongly recommend finding another repair shop. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration.

I had a terrible experience getting my winter tires changed here. My car was picked up at 9:00am, my appointment was scheduled for 10:00am. As a result, by 3:00pm my car was still not fixed because they were too busy. I don't understand what the appointment is worth even though I booked it 2 days in advance.

I have been a customer here and even brought my family here to give Midas business. They have taken advantage of my kindness and price gouged me when they knew I was under a time crunch and vulnerable. An extremely expensive bill with no explanation to why the cost was so high. I later took the same invoice to other mechanics and was explained that they clearly ripped me off. Never AGAIN will I return here and I will continue to advocated against using MIDAS all together.

Needed to replace my battery, called them mid morning and the job was done a few hours later. Very quick, no unexpected charges or attempts to increase the scope of work. Would visit again.

I wanted to write this review because I was very pleased with the Midas team. I brought my 2016 BMW X5 35d which stopped on the side of the road, I had the vehicle towed. The Midas Team Mansour, Anwar and the lead mechanic Sayed were great, they quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed my fuel pump with a new retainer clip, within a couple hours I was on my way back to Windsor. I was skeptical at first being my vehicle at Midas but Sayed was very knowledgeable and knew how to handle the German vehicle carefully and had put all the trim pieces back carefully. Thank You to the Midas Team

I had a leak in the tire of my Jeep. I went to this location to see if they could patch it up. They said that the leak was on the side wall of the tire, they said that they could not fix it, and they recommended purchasing not one but two brand-new tires for $1,000. I decided to take my Jeep to Canadian Tire instead. They were able to patch the leak (which was not on the side wall) for barely $100. I would definitely not do business with this location again 👎 I understand if they do not have the equipment to fix tire punctures, but I feel as though they were not truthful about the location of the leak.

I went to this 160 Lakeshore Road east location and was disappointment with every visit had to try to rectify the problem. I was laughed at and made to feel unsafe when I left the store with brakes that were not functioning to satisfaction. This store gives Midas a bad name stay away if you want to be treated with respect and get car services by high quality mechanics.

These guys are clueless on the work they do and when questioned have quite the attitude. They replaced TPMS for one tire and the car showed an error by the time i reached home. Took it back next day and and they didn't know why , they then called tech support for the TPMS monitor and got advised to drive it around on the highway ....i did that and it didn't work. Took it back to them and as usual they had no idea how to resolve and asked to bring it again during the week so that they can call support again. When pressed the desk guy to just accept that they don't have a clue on how to resolve it and that i cant keep coming back every second day he got quite irritated.
Anyways googled and went straight to limitless tire shop 20 mins away and within 10 mins the issue was explained and resolved ....it was as simple as reprogramming the TPMS modules and that was it!!!
Not sure about other midas places but this one def lacks the expertise and the customer experience isn't the best. They installed a TPMS module and another shop had to fix the error and reprogram it...and this was a simple job...couldn't even think of asking these guys for something more complex on my vehicle.

I had been a loyal customer of Midas-Port Credit for the past 20 years. Recently I was informed that my summer tires/rims were stolen while in storage with them. Many delays in resolution that they justified with weak excuses. No apology. No offer of a complimentary oil change. No compensation offer of any kind. And they ignored my messages and phone calls. Clearly they do not want to keep me as a customer.Subsquently, I reported them to the BBB, and the owner & manager at Midas-Port Credit ignored them also. DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE !!!
... and in reponse, someone representing Midas will then post a link that does work.
