Pricing of certain products is extraordinarily expensive (esp. fresh meat) compared to other Loblaws/Fortinos locations. Expect to pay 10-20% higher and beware of shrinkflation. Keep shopping here if you want to pad the profits of the Westons.

Worms in the pecans I Bought yesterday. Was absolutely horrified. Shopped at the Glen Erin location in Mississauga. Family is now disgusted and no longer interested in eating Thanksgiving dinner. For a company who is responsible for tripling the cost of food, fully taking advantage of covid, it is absolutely unacceptable. I am appalled and hope I can share this with all shoppers. I used to shop at sobeys but the location near me closed. I will have to shop at Metro & Longo's going forward. To all shoppers, please avoid Loblaws and all other affiliates of Loblaw. If you can't avoid them, please look out for worms and poor quality foods. They advertise as high end, top quality but do not deliver.

Found worns in my pecans that I purchased for thanksgiving.
I'm concerned that everything I've purchased could be contaminated. Especially at this price point I'd expect to find nothing living in my groceries!

A very clean grocery store with a wide variety of food. It is a bit expensive but they offer good deals from time to time. Their produce is usually one of the best in the market. Bakery is also very good. Their staff need to be a little bit more helpful but those who are usually at the checkout are usually very good.

I am extremely disappointed to see the condition of the ladies washroom. Conditions of the toilet seat is unimaginable. Loblaws is not a cheap franchise. My suggestion is to change the franchise owner at this location. All ladies please go check the washroom & post your comments. Thanks

I am very disappointed in the ladies that work in the bakery section. My kids asked for a cookie as it is clearly displayed you get one free cookie and she denied my son indicating that he is to old for a cookie hence my son is 11 years old. My son is very tall for his age and for her to judge him and assume his age is wrong. Secondly, where is posted the age limit and third, who is she to determine his age and based on what. This is the second time I have had an issue with the ladies who work in bakery. The other time, I was standing there for 10mins waiting while the bakery lady sees me and doesn't want to assist and continues doing her mindless work. I spent so much money at this Loblaws and come their on a regular basis only to be treated horribly by those women. Please hire new bakery workers who actually care about the customers. Without the customers, Loblaws would be shutdown and you would be out of a job so care about the customers and treat them properly. A cookie doesn't cost much and won't break the bank if you give one out. If I and other customers stop coming that will break your bank account and affect Lobalws. Managers need to monitor the bakery ladies as they clearly are not doing their job.

Extremely overpriced compared to other grocery stores like Walmart. Just avoid this chain unless you have an urgent need for something. I don’t understand why Loblaws brand which includes superstore and shoppers drug mart is so expensive. The price is almost 2x sometimes.

I just pulled out of the parking lot and witnessed the tall light haired male store manager belittle the kind gentleman who fetches carts. Apparently some bonehead customer complained that there were no little carts... so he came to yell at him.. a clear pass it on bad representation of leadership. I come to this all the time and have for years and could not be more disappointed in how this employee was treated. Train your managers better.

I had the most wonderful experience today at loblaws. I went to purchase a bouquet for my grandparents and ended up with these lovely pink roses. The employee Crystal was so kind and truly made my day. She did a great job at packaging the flowers and explained to us how to take good care of the roses. Would definitely come back to purchase flowers from here again.

Great store, genuinely speaking. Loved it there.
It’s better than superstore, which is the only branch/ chain, that’s more widespread, in Manitoba.
