I hate to be this person but ever since this location started hiring women of south asian descent everytime I go here I have the rudest customer service ive ever experienced in my life. I thought it may be something personal against me but I see from other comments that people have had similar experiences. This is how my interactions with them go everytime:
Me: "hi there"
Them: *silence, no reply and no eye contact*
Them: how will you pay?
Me: *Tells them, pays, says i would not like a receipt*
Them: *silence and no eye contact, looks for next customer before i can even say thank you*
There is only one younger girl that is friendly by normal standards.
Not to mention, I see these workers talking with their coworkers playfully but treating me as a customer like i don't even exist.
I always leave here feeling offended and in a bad mood, it's truly a disgrace for customer service. PLEASE address this.

The cashier Andy was the most rudest person i met in Lcbo, my only mistake was i had LCBO gift card in my wallet which i didnt know off and i had said form of payment Mastercard. Andy took his time to make me feel i have done the gravest mistake of my life and how inconvinient it was for him to switch to gift card and MC payment.Anyways Liquor Board of Control controls everything so they can treat customers how they want as there is no one to control them.

On a day that was supposed to be just another routine errand, I found myself in an unexpectedly disheartening situation. Here I am, a 62-year-old, navigating the challenges of arthritis, and on this day, I was carrying a basket filled with wine. It was heavier than I anticipated, but manageable until I reached the checkout. As I placed my basket on the counter, what I thought would be a simple transaction turned into a moment of disbelief. The young lady at the register refused to even take the bottles out of the basket, insisting that I do it myself. It wasn’t about assistance with heavy lifting; it was about the basic act of transferring items for purchase, which suddenly became a hurdle.Feeling somewhat taken aback, I raised my concerns, only to be met with a response that added insult to injury: she refused to serve me unless I complied. It was then that another staff member, a young man, offered to help but echoed the same condition—I had to empty the basket myself. If I didn’t like it, the door was as good as shown to me.Shameful.

Amazing offer back at New Year’s Eve 2023. Claimed some sales and clearance stock and the exquisite wine options were true delight. Happy drinking :) “don’t drink while on wheels”

With all due respect to all other staff who are awesome. This is in regards to a senior staff guy when i asked for a box(almost less than half of a box)that i needed to put in my backpack so that the bottles wont clink he replied in a very rude way that its for customers only??? I had purchased almost a 100 Dollar liquor that day what was he talking about ?? and i am regular customer in this lcbo branch. My only request is that the staff should be more respectfull n polite in all ways.
