I am absolutely disgusted and furious regarding my experience today June 14,2024 at 10:30am. Not only did I have to wait 15 minutes in line with my 8 month old daughter to be served at the meat section…7-8 men cutting meat and only 1 person serving a customer when there was a lineup. The service by one particular staff member was GARBAGE to an elderly lady which I felt TERRIBLE for. She could have been at least 80 years old. Purchased $430 worth of meat only to have a man tell her to “Go grab a dolly from outside and put your meat inside”..your meat is ready”. WOW..how disrespectful could you be? She could barely walk. The right thing to do would have been to grab one for her and help her out. It would have taken him a few seconds. Would you treat your mother or grandmother like that? I don’t think so.
Secondly…we all work hard for our hard earned money. We have many options to complete our shopping elsewhere. I just spent $43 on 2KG of meat that went straight to the garbage. The top of the meat was nice and red..to my surprise, I flip it over and ALL brown…smelling TERRIBLE. Are you happy you just took advantage of a young mom? I drove 40 minutes to receive something like this? I call this THIEF/CHEATER service.
I will NEVER be back after my experience and what I witnessed today.

Good service.
Meats are fresh. A little pricy but the meat is tender.
The butchers give their recommendations.
They have good quality meat cutting knives.

The customer service at the butcher counter is terrible. This is not my first time having a bad experience they don't listen to what you ask for, they seem bothered that you are telling them how you would like your meat cut they ignore you and do what they want. I live 2 minutes away but I would not go back. I would rather pay more and go further then go back. To the owners when you first opened this location it was always nice to shop there, when you started hiring people that seem to hate their job you should have kept looking for better employees. I'm not the first one to complain about your staff.

Great place to buy fresh Lamb, Beef, Veal, Poultry meats. They also have few middleeastern groceries in the store. The store has plenty of parking.

WORST customer service. They don’t know the basic ethics of how to talk to the customer. I go to this location sometimes but I guess I am not going there anymore after todays experience. They lack basic manners of how to talk and deal with the customer specifically the owner ( he is bald and elder than everyone else inside the meat section.
The staff messed up with the bones I asked to cut which is fine and I was willing to take but I asked a simple question about the bones and meat. First they tried to ignore but when I repeat the questions the owner lost his temper and had a tantrum. I was surprised from his behaviour and tried to calm down but he was angry saying stuff in English/foreign language.
He was trying to embarrass me in front of other customers saying ”you have so many questions but spending few bucks. Give my meat/bones back and leave the store” he was continuously yelling and disrespecting. I even say that I am not going to argue and disrespect as the owner is elder than me but he kept on yelling in English and other language. I gave him the meat back and left the store.
I witnessed similar behaviour in the past from the same person with other customers.
The meat quality is average, you have to pick the right meat. They do try to sell the customer with bad quality meat.

Their meat always has an after taste a day after cooking. Uncooked meat purchased from here tends to go bad within 2 days in the fridge. I never have this issue from any other halal meat shop. We also purchased some frozen samosas from this shop a few months ago which were clearly left out and then put back in the freezer because they stank up my house (smell of spoiled meat) when I fried them. I brought them back to the store and they exchanged them for me.

Great place. At times, I found expired Vimto bottles. Other than that this place is my go to for Molokheya.
