Never Never allow this company to used your roof on their business. They sale man come and talk with sweet words at the end you'll screwed up. I'm selling my property, got a good offer and the buyer don't want the panel so I call them that I want their stuff to be off on my roof it's shocking that they re asking Me to pay 37k because I sign up for 20 years and its only there for 7 years..what scammer. I don't even have a copy of the contract... till I asked them to send me. I even beg the Manager...her answer is unfortunately I can't do anything. Because this company is unfortunately can't do anything people. Now my property still on the market because this Grasshopper screwed me up. So people... I would never recommend you go near to this company. Very stressful.....take note very stressful. Minus Zero Rating

customer service is amazing, I had a few inqueries and had to contact customer service, Spoke with HANA , WHAT AN AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I MUST SAY . Unfortunatly I can not say the same about thier sales rep...I was lie to and was left in dark, he came across as it was as this was a simple thing and there was nothing to be worried about!!! he also promised that I will start saving money on my energy bill and said he will send the form to me for my signature ... but everything he said was nothing but a lie and it was too late when I realized what I got into..with all that bad experiance with this whole thing I am greatful at list thier customer service is an ACE

We purchased a home that already had solar panels. We had no idea how complicated the transfer would be. I can't say enough on how helpful the Grasshopper staff were. In particular, I want to single out Kiruba Samuel who led me through each step of the process. She is not only knowledgeable but extremely professional and went the extra mile to ensure the transfer was successful and that I understood why each step was necessary. The fact that Grasshopper even has a transfer team shows that they are customer focused. Thank you so much, Kiruba and Grasshopper.

if i could do 0 star I would. I had a leak after solar panels were done and waited almost 2 years before they came to look at things. Snow would slide of panels on to our cars so something else was installed to prevent this, then the leaks started. Almost 2 yrs latter someone came to look. I was told access was needed for roof and attic. 2 guys came. ! stayed in his truck the other was on for 5 mins took 2 pics and left. They didn't even check roof or attic. There response was water leaked from my outside wall. I know its a crock of bull because all new insulation and siding was put on and no leaks happened until i mixed up in this. They did call also last moth saying a new company was buying them which is a breach of contract. They can sell but you cant leave. If you need your roof done you have to use there roofers, triple the price.Do not even thinks out doing this.By the time contract is up panels are garbage.BUYER BEWARE.They do not listen of take responsibly for the actions.

Grasshopper installed our panels in 2014, 2020 we rebuild the house and need to remove the panels during the project. The operation team insist on asking our new roof drawings despite I only ask for the removal of it.After providing the roof drawings, they said they are unable to accept the project without any reason.Nightmare of having the panels, definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to install it. If for any reason you need to remove and reinstall the panels(think of roof maintenance, resell of the house, renovation etc), the cost of removal and reinstallation could easily eat up 10 years income that it generated. If you are planning to install any solar panels, ask about the cost of removal and installation first, consult how regularly you need to change roof, and then compare to the income it will generate.Plus:1, it de-value your home, not adding value. Many buyers don’t like it. They will ask you to remove it before sell.2, animals habitat underneath it, you will have lots noise on roof once installed.

I wish I could give a lower rating. When we were asked to sign up for this program we asked what happens when we have to replace our roof. We were told we get one free removal and install when its time to do the roof. Now they are telling us we have to pay $2500 +taxes if we don't use their approved roofers. Fine...please send the quotes. Surprise Surprise...their approved roofers are $3000 more than what we've been quoted by local roofers. This was supposed to be way to save money and be more environmentally conscious. Instead it's been a major headache. Horrible experience. Shame on you scam artists.

I've had a wonferful experience working with the highly professional team at Grasshopper, lead by a dynamic, visionary and team-player CEO, Azeem M. Qureshi. The global expansion strategy is substantiated by a highly-deployable team developing projects on the ground, minding the local needs and regulations. Looking forward to more projects, more support for local communities and fewer carbon emmissions.

First of all, do not lease your roof for solar panels. You get absolutely no benefit from them and it will destroy property value. If you do decide to make that poor choice, go with any other company than Grasshopper.

Not worth it. Makes doing anything to your house very difficult. Lowers the value of your house and buyers run away from homes with solar panels. Our family deeply regrets getting these. If you're trying to become more environmentally friendly, I would recommend doing something else. If you are trying to make or even save any money from this, definitely stay far away.

We have been with Grasshopper since 2014 . it was a such a pleasure dealing with Grasshopper when he had to replace our roof this Spring . The whole process from start to finish was handled very professionally and timely by Grasshopper representative . They sent us multiple competitive quotes from reputed roofing companies . Once the contract was signed , the solar panel team and roofing company did a great job removing panels , installing new roof and installing solar panels again within a short time without any hassle . It was like taking a backseat .Tanya from Grasshopper team was very courteous and provided great service following up on the work and keeping us well informed .Five star rating all the way .

Grasshopper installed our panels in 2014, this year we are doing some renovations of the house and need to remove the panels during the project. The operation team insist on asking our new roof drawings despite I only ask for the removal of it.After providing the roof drawings, they said they are unable to accept the project without any reason.Nightmare of having the panels, definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to install it if you would sell, move, or renovate the house.I see tons of reviews showing you helped customers remove the panels for roof repair, but cannot remove mine just because my roof will change? How is that affect you to remove it?

Our solar cabling was damaged badly by squirrels, and our original solar provider never answered our calls. We heard about Grasshopper from our neighbourhood app. They came when promised, found the problem quickly and fixed our system! Great service. Friendly technicians.

I had their solar panels installed in 2013, where they leased my roof on a 20-year contract and I would own it outright after that. During the last 7 years I found the company very responsive. Recently we decided to sell our house and found buyers wary of this equipment on the roof. We had a good offer who set a condition that this equipment be removed. There does not seem to be good knowledge out there about the long term benefits. Indeed, some real estate lawyers misinformed their clients to not buy our house because banks would be unwilling to mortgage and insurance companies unwilling to insure. We had to take a lower offer than if we had not had this equipment, about $40,000. So I got $720/year electricity revenue in return for my loss of $40,000. Company should have better education material for us to pass on to potential buyers so they can inform their real estate lawyers. So in the end, because we decided to move, this has not been a pleasant experience.
