I only eat meat so I was happy to find this place after a long search. I got my steak supply and tallow from them a number of times and I always go for the less aged cuts they have because I get a very bad allergic reaction to aged meat. They are aware of this. On my last visit I also asked many times whether the cut I was taking was not as aged because it was dark and was assured by the shop owner that it was around a week old. I got the worst reaction after eating it and it’s the same reaction I get every time I eat aged meat. I couldn’t work the following day and still felt sick and had pain days after. I called to speak to the owner and explained what happened, he replied by saying that next time I should let him know a day in advance so he makes sure I’m not getting aged meat. I trusted them with my situation but was let down and no compensation was offered to maintain having me as a customer.

Been going to this butcher shop since mine closed down 9 years ago. I've tried other butchers closer to me and was not thrilled with the quality. Than I stumbled upon this place. This place is top notch when it comes to friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ali and Kevin are amazing at their craft, they can get whatever product you want and prepare it as desired. Susan's baked goods are delicious. Everything is fresh and price wise, it's not cheap however you get exactly what you pay for. You can't expect to buy a steak here for No Frills pricing with their quality. I've recommended this place to everyone I know for high quality proteins. AAA grade indeed. Try the in-house seasoning for your protein, you will not be disappointed.

This is a great butcher shop. Excellent selection and quality. They will season and shrink wrap. Very friendly. My favourite Butcher shop.

The most amazing premium cuts of meat you'll find anywhere in the area. The staff are quite literally the friendliest and most knowledgeable butchers I've come across. The steak selection is definitely a specialty of theirs, highly recommended if you're in the neighborhood.

When I'm cooking to impress, I get my meats from Elmwood Meat Market!Small business with massive quality! Started coming for their excellent selection of grass-fed beef products. They can also cut fresh meat to custom portions.Staff are knowledgeable and can makr suggestions on what to get and how to cook it.Have since enjoyed more niche products like Osso Bucco, wagyu burgers, seafood, and game meat like Bison.I'm not often in Port Credit, but when I am I try to stock up at Elmwood meats!
