Today, Oct 18 I went to this store and I encountered many young students from the close by high-school waiting to be let inside to buy something! (...and this is not the first time!!!) I wonder why they have to wait in line like criminals? These students have the same right than anyone wanting to buy product from this store or any other store in CANADA! What kind of policy is this? Is this legal?! Are they just assuming all students are theft? Shame on the owner!!!
They are discriminating against students and this is not rigth. I honestly not going anymore to this dollarama in particular (as it is the only one I have seen doing this), but my husband said he has seen the signs in the entrance of other locations.
When I pass by one, again I will take a picture and will post it in the media. I am very upset and I hope this ridiculous and discriminating policy is removed. I think all parents from this high school should be passing by the store at noon time and complain about the treatment their children are getting and tell them not to go there is they can't get inside like any other customer.
If they are afraid of thift they can hire more personal or install
cameras but, do not treat our younger generations so irrespecfully, I feel so bad thinking on them trying to buy a drink, candies, utensils or wherever from a store that treats them so badly.

I’m very upset !!!! I went to purchase J cloth.. I asked and this is my third time going just for that!! One lady said “ what is that “ I’m like you don’t know ??? And again they didn’t have it.. I’ve been getting them and I don’t get why they stopped having them.. What I don’t get is when I asked the associates didn’t know what I was talking about!!! I had to explain what a J cloth is and what it’s for ?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️

My experience was good at dollarama, easy to find items, easy for billings, and good staff as well. If I would get a chance to work there, I'll definitely work ?

Extremely rude staff,no proper customer service training of any kind it seems.The management hired "cheap" labor and these untrained staff is giving an attitude to the customers!!
I've lived in this neighborhood for a very long time,never saw how things are going from bad to worst at such places!
I will not be giving them my business anymore!
