This is the cleanest Dollar trees I have visited so far! Extremely clean, the staff (Varun and Fina: I hope I’m spelling it right) were the most kind and helpful. Keep it up you guys ??

Came here for first time from another province the lady was super rude ..such a bad experience in the province.I think people should know what customers service look like .

I visited this location last week with my 3 year old daughter and encountered a negative interaction with Varun.
As I walked in, my daughter accidentally dropped the display of kinder surprises on the floor. I apologized to Varun while I cleaned it up and he proceeded to say “Just leave it, I got it”
I grabbed a cart and picked up a 12 pack of Nestle Water that HAD $2 green sticker on the package. I figured it was a good price for Nestle water so I added it to my cart.
While standing in line to cash out, I witnessed Varun being impolite to a customer. I didn’t think much of it because I didn’t want to get involved nor did I know if Varun was having a bad day. When it was my turn to cash, I told Varun that I had a 12 pack Nestle water in my cart and he looked at me and said yeah I need to scan it.
When he scanned the water, it did not show up as $2. He proceeded to tell me and I quote “ Some idiot put the wrong sticker on this water so it’s not $2” I said to him, well can you not honour the price still? He said “No I can’t” I asked why, he said because the water is not that price and it was an idiot placed the sticker there. This means that Varun was calling one of his other staff members an idiot while they were not present.
Anyways, I asked to speak with a manager.
He called over this manager and said “This lady wants the water for $2, the manager (lady) looked at him and said just give it to her then. As Varun continued to scan the rest of my items, I said to him “ I don’t know if you’re having a bad day, but you don’t need to take out your anger on me or customers” he said to me “ You’re just being unreasonable” I asked “ how am I being unreasonable? If something says a price which was mistake on your end, why can’t you not honour it if I am the customer I used to work as a cashier at a grocery store and we would honour our customers for these type of things”
He proceeded to ignore me and sort of threw my receipt at me after I paid. My dear, this is all happening while I had my three-year-old daughter listening. I had her in one head and I had groceries in the other hand, including a case of water. The customer behind me said to the cashier maybe you are having a bad day but just please be nice to your customer. That’s all I’m asking you. Before I left, I said to Varun, your customer service sucks and I don’t know how you’re still working here.
If I didn’t have my daughter with me, I would’ve taken this action further. I will not say that I am not going back to the store because I probably will since it’s in the area where I go sometimes but I would definitely not be interacting with Varun. I don’t know who his manager is, but please fire him. Your keeping staff members like him? Just remembered that this is a representation of your business. Keep work and personal life separated no need to bring the negativity to your place of work and if you’re having a bad day, and you know you can’t control, You should not be working with customers.
Perhaps find another job where you can provide that type of attitude. Good luck.

Definitely has a good amount of inventory but I find stock to be scattered at times, even if it’s still early. Still, a good place to shop around ?️

The staff at the Balloon counter was rude and unprofessional. When I asked for a balloon, she responded dismissively. It seems that complaints about customer service at this location are valid.

First of all get nicer more customer valued respectful staff.
My elderly mother who is losing her hearing was stuck at the front of the small entrance of the dollar store because a worker had a giant cart unloading products. My mother tried to wheel the cart so she could get by and the staff person gave a very horrible/dirty look and commented if you just asked I would have moved it!
To my mother just jokingly said I'm sorry you might want to kill me as she was moving the cart to try to get by not hearing the if u just asked comment.
My mother of course is hard of hearing and did not hear the sarcastic comment that came after which was "just trying to help" (snarky )but I did! I will try my very hardest to never shop at this location thank you

We were met with a rude and disrespectful staff named Joseph (who didn't even want to tell me her name).She refused to let us come into the store to grab one thing we came to get so she can go home 5 minutes early.

Dollar Tree is a favorite place for everyone . Men, women, and children .It is really helpful to get household items for daily use at a cheaper price .They have all kinds of plastic containers, organizers, gift bags, packaging materials, toys, costumes, pet supplies, school supplies, cosmetic equipment, and other things decorations, items, many many more wonderful items you can see in the Dollar tree store.It's really a fun place to visit and enjoy it, getting everything much better and cheaper.
