Great inventory, Great staff. But one of the busiest Costco in canada.
Crowd is crazy , fighting for parking spot.
Avoid over weekends if possible.

The staff is fine. Helpful overall. But this Costco is always, crazy busy. Great for their profitability, but a terrible, terrible shopping experience. Always a fight for parking. Often a huge line to cash out. Need more active registers. Most of the time everything is a mess... clothes look like a rummage sale. Not the fault of the staff... they're trying their best. Go to the Costco on Dundas st. in Mississauga. Even the food court is overwhelmed on busy days.

I have been a loyal member of Costco for over ten years, and I have always held the company’s service quality in high regard. However, my shopping experience at your S Mississauga #531 location on December 21, 2023, was deeply disappointing and has caused me to seriously question the level of service at Costco. The behavior of the cashier, Olivia M, was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful, and it significantly impacted my shopping experience.
On that day, I was shopping with my 84-year-old grandmother, who is not able to speak English and has limited mobility. During checkout, Olivia M’s behavior was dismissive and unfriendly, and she showed no understanding or patience, especially toward my elderly grandmother. She refused to allow us to pay separately and insisted on a method of payment that was inconvenient for us, showing no consideration for our actual needs. Her rigid and unhelpful attitude was both frustrating and uncalled for.
To make matters worse, Olivia M unjustly accused my grandmother’s mobility scooter of being "in the wrong aisle." So she could not check her out, This baseless accusation was shocking, and it completely ignored my grandmother's physical condition and the necessity of using a mobility aid. As an elderly person, my grandmother already struggles with mobility, and this unreasonable criticism only added to her discomfort. Such treatment of someone with a disability is utterly unacceptable, especially in the lead-up to Christmas, a time when we would expect more understanding and compassion.
Even more infuriating is the fact that due to Olivia M’s mistakes, we were forced to wait for over 40 minutes without any explanation or apology. Throughout the ordeal, she displayed a complete lack of empathy and impatience, which is completely contrary to the customer-first philosophy that Costco is known for. This cold and unprofessional treatment left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with the company.
As a customer with over ten years of membership, I have always trusted Costco to provide excellent service. However, this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. I strongly urge Costco to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident and take appropriate action against the responsible employee. I do not want to see this kind of situation happen again, especially during the holiday season, when customers expect to be treated with greater understanding and respect.

Today I went to costco to pick up a prescription for pneumonia (wearing a mask of course). Being the day before Christmas It was extremely busy but I had no choice. While waiting in the massive line I began feeling extremely unwell, so I left my wallet with my partner who was still in line so that I could get a glass of water. Upon getting to the counter I was told I needed to pay a dollar for the cup even if it was for water and that there’s a fountain down the hall. I told the woman there was a large line to pay, I don’t even have my card on me and that I’m not going to use the public fountain because I don’t want someone else getting sick. (Mind you I don’t even drink pop so whenever I get a pop and hotdog I just leave the cup). The woman then gave me a sample cup and told me to use this for the fountain. This cup was barely big enough to hold two sips of water. I then waited in line again for over twenty minutes holding back a fever, infection and a bad stomach with my shot glass of water.
Charging for water when someone is in crisis is inhumane and unbelievable. I know places have started to do this but use come common sense and fix your dam policies.

Courteous staff including Pharmacy with the exception of one - two guys in pharmacy who are always very uncourteous. Overall this place is managed well.
They have BBQ whole chicken but not HALAL which I have personally requested to store management to start Halal as well but they have not done it yet.
They have yogurt of all kinds except Desi Style which is availeble in Brampton store. They should have it here too.

Most everyone should know the Costco experience by now. The crowding and stressful parking aspects are greatly alleviated by the selection, the value and the genuinely cheerful and happy staff.
