Horrible experience with ADT.1. When alarm goes off, takes them up to 7 minutes to call the phone - that is an eternity if someone is breaking in2. They don’t have a local number to call - just an 800 number that doesn’t work in some countries. So if you are on vacation and your alarm goes off - and if you miss their call - you can’t call them back. Then they send police to your house who send you a false alarm bill. Spent 3 hours on phone with them to confirm to way to call them back from most Caribbean countries.3. Frequent contact faults4. Decided to change to a local company. Upon changing the tech, they found 2 connectors in main floor (!!) that weee not actually connected to the system and all 4 window break sensors not connected.Horrible company. Go local.

It was all good until I got contacted by a Lawyer regarding missing payments that were made to this company. Once this point was reached, it was impossible to contact anyone that could help me. Customer service said my account was non existing. I've been on the phone for 4-5 hours now and not one person has been able to help me, they just keep transferring until the call cuts off. It's such a shame that such a big company as Telus and ADT have this issues and not a single competent person to resolve them.

Worse Customer Service. Until ADT it was good. Telus staff has no manners to talk to customers and they don’t want to serve. I was with ADT since 2018 it with regret I had to cancel the services as they do not know how to fix their own equipment!! Stay a way from their security services as they are never bothered and do not believe in good customer experience & will try to escape and will make all sorts of excuses.

Garbage service, had a technician on Saturday, system malfunctioning again by Monday, called customer service - useless!I will remove the system as soon as possible.

Over an hour on hold just to update a credit card number. And no online portal to view monthly statements. It's 2024!!!!

if I could give zero stars I would. This company has not figured out a way to allow a Canadian customer with an ADT secured property in the USA to call them on a Canadian mobile phone. A Canadian mobile phone is not recognized by the US system. 8 customer service reps have no idea how to address this or why this is the case. Good luck to you if there is an alarm event and you are in the house in the US with only your Canadian cellphone to contact them. You will be gone baby gone before you finish their 57 prompts . THE most frustrating and ill-organized company anywhere with the worst possible customer service.

Not sure how I’m a client of adt. But got a letter from a credit collection agency that says I owe adt money. Would be nice if adt reached out to me before with a warning perhaps to pay a bill?? Thanks a lot for giving me the pleasure of dealing with general credit services.

Been ADT customer since 2019 yet they have no idea which model we have! (?!?!?!?) The Security Services company doesn't know which model they installed in our house and how to fix it? Their only suggestion was to upgrade (excuse me? Why would I 'upgrade'?! I need the current one to be fixed!). Unbelievable!!!Since ADT was bought by Telus, the service sucks big time!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND them! With competition from Nest, Ring, local companies, and SO many more, you'd think Telus would pay attention to the over 180 Google ratings at 1 but wanna be -0 !!!

The worst customer service ever I have experienced, very rude they don’t even apologize for their mistakes, being rerouted to different departments without even being notified.They don’t address any technical issues sooner.Got a false alarm and have to wait one week to get a technician.

Had the displeasure of dealing with ADT when I was a business owner and could not tell you how much I never wanted to deal with them ever again. Then I had to when my new job required me to contact them to cancel a service. Just the absolute worst, unproffesional, lazy service I've ever received. If you're considering this company for your security needs, PLEASE choose anything else. Hire a homeless guy with a stick, you'll get better service and it'll probably be cheaper. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Just call them about my system. This girl from the Philippines is answering the phone at 2.45 AM Philippines time. She wants to send a technician to look at my system. I asked her the cost. Listen to this it is $185 per hour. I am quitting my job and go work for TELUS. I told her my best option is to cancel the system. She said she is going to speak to the Loyalty department to see if they can wave the technician's charge. Will see about that on Monday.
