BEWARE!!! FRAUD ALRET! I just got a $500 charge on my credit card from 8COM. I haven't used their services in over 10 years. I called my bank to report it and they told me that they attempted it twice. I'm not the only one that had this happen to. If you look at the newest review on Google, you will see another person that got charged $1000. If you have every used their services, PLEASE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS!!!

just got charged $1000 and 2 of my friends got charged $1200 and $1800. Check your bank accounts and report this fraudulent activity to your bank asap these guys are frauds. This business is shut down and they are trying to scam all their clients.

SCUM COMPANY - FRAUDS!!!!! -BE WARNED!!!! here is the situation: we have 4 phones with this company -FOR SEVERAL YEARS. They sent us 4 new sim cards to change (from Telus to Bell SIM cards -without notifying us), 1 works, and the 3 others do not. I have been calling on both their sales and customer service line for 2 days and have constantly been on hold and then hung up. I even sent 2 emails to their customer info line and no answer, when my dad got a hold of them yesterday and told them about the situation they told him to wait it out and try again later... this is TERRIBLE customer service. this is now day 3 that 3/4 phones we have with this company do not have a SIN that works, and no one seems to be able to provide any assistance. telling your customers to wait it out a couple of days and check again at a later time to see if if the SIN will work then is simply unacceptable!!!! update day 4: got a hold of them, basically told me to go to Walmart to buy a SIM card in the meantime while they mail us new SIM cards. the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!! Update day 7: to add to this absolute nonsense: went to Bell to join their plans and attempted to port our phone numbers from this scum company; to find out that they have provided our phone numbers to 3 others phone lines 1 of them being a limo driver company and one of them connected to the CRA. ALSO our credit card company has even blocked us from paying 8com due to fraudulent behavior... We have been with 8com for several years and for this company to give our phone numbers to other people and cause this much chaos is simply disgusting. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORT AND TAKEN DOWN! DO NOT JOIN, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION AND EXPOSE IT TO OTHERS, THIS IS IDENTITY THEFT!!!
