I have not yet given a negative review to anyone. I sincerely believe in giving people second chances, sadly today is my first such review.People at MK Auto Steele Ave have proven time and again in their practice of price gouging. They are scamming customers with the assumption that customers would know less. In this day and age, a simple Google search can put anyone in knowledge.On a recent visit to MK Auto, a simple winter tire switchover cost me a staggering $561. We were overcharged for parts (tire pressure sensors) that would have cost less than half. Not only that, the parts added were at least faulty and of extremely low quality. Within 2 days of getting the work done, we were back in the shop.People at MK Auto are indulging in a dishonest practice of overcharging naïve individuals. I would caution anyone looking for an auto repair shop to avoid MK Auto for their own good.EDITS AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:By any reasonable measure, a customer cannot be charged superfluous prices just because the repair shop can get away with it. That impression left a lasting memory for us not to use your shop, and I would caution anyone using your service that beware as buyers get scammed here.

Worst staff ever I dealt in Canada.. went for wheel balancing and tire swap, they didn't follow what was requested and when asked for after being handed over my car, the staff started screaming at me. There was a woman before me and the staff mishbehaved with her as well..

Used this car mechanic shop for last 5 years without any issue. After this new location and new people look like they also changed the honest practices. Went there for Safety Certificate once they refused to give without brake change and second time they provide estimate of 600 before they can give safety certificate. I went to Canadian Tire they checked the car and issue certificate without any problem.Will never go back. Just because of their dishonesty they loose the business of 7 cars of my circle.Edited after owner reply:Thanks for taking time and reply. However, you completely ignore the part where it says Canadian Tire issued safety certificate of same car, same day after an hour inspection.Just to let you know as well one of my friend visited same place for tire rotation and your technician told him same problem which they told me ?Highly recommend to change the script.
