My friends and I stopped in this beautiful shop on a whim at the end of the day on Sunday. Not only is the product simply incredible (I'm not sure I have ever felt leather this supple!), but the service was absolutely fantastic. Heather was a dream to work with and a joy to spend time. I definitely recommend stopping in and finding that perfect something for practically anyone on your Christmas list. I was so impressed that they also sell their leather scraps. I bought a bag for my own handicraft business and am so excited to incorporate the leather into the stuffies I make.

I purchased a fabulous pair of moccasins. I love them! Unfortunately there was a sewing error on them that I neglected to notice while in Canada. I was so upset. I was sure I was going to have a miserable time remedying the situation. Boy was I wrong! My issue was resolved in record time. The owner was kind and understanding. I couldn’t be happier with my shoes and with the service. This is the way to run a business.

Winter of 2023, I purchased a pair of Hides In Hand’s wonderful black leather mittens. They are wonderfully warm. Winter of 2024, the sewn edge of the fleece liners began to fray. I contacted Teresa for advice. Teresa invited me to send my mittens back to her. Within 2 weeks, my mittens were returned, sporting a brand new cuff, at no charge. The mittens are even warmer now and I’m so pleased. Thanks very much Teresa - finding such fabulous customer service is very rare. You have a lifetime supporter in me.

These are the best hand mitts I have ever had. I also got a pair for my mother, along with the small bag. The quality of the products are fantastic. I'm in England, so these Canadian ?mitts are quit unique, well made, durable and attractive. Also, the mobile phone pouch is very useful. I would highly recommend this manufacturer.

Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about the customer service and the quality of the product! Hides In Hand. I salute you!I was looking for a last minute "made in Canada" gift for my friends down in the USA. I am Indigenous and was wanting to give a gift that was native to Canada and also Indigenous as the gift receivers are also Indigenous! Hides In Hand delivered in record time! The packaging was so detailed as was the product! The customer service I received was white glove.Highly recommend!

My dad has owned a couple pairs of the moose hide mitts for several years now. They are the warmest mitts I’ve known, and they have held up exceptionally well. Go-to mitt for deep snow and winter wood processing. I have always wanted a pair of my own. Thankfully, I received a pair for Christmas this year! Unfortunately, the size was a little small for me, so I needed to have them exchanged. I opted to stop by their location in Rockwood, but I did not realize that this is technically their head office and not a retail location. I was prepared to drive to their retail store in Erin (20 min away) but as I was walking to my car, the owner appeared and flagged me down. To my surprise, she offered to make me a new set right on the spot! Not only did this save me an extra drive, but she ensured a custom/perfect fit for my abnormally large hands! Really nice woman, standing behind a quality locally made product. Thank you!

What a beautiful experience I just had upon opening my parcel with all these little love hearts in the packaging cascading all over me?I bought the light blue ballerina slippers and the love and care that has gone into the making of these can be felt. My feet are in heaven. Such soft beautiful leather.
