Pick up service at this location is awful. Incorrect orders, shoppers don't EVER read instructions for 'no substitutions', they lie about not having an item because they don't want to bother to look, and constantly overcharging.
Plus, fixed price packages of meat are pure robbery. For example: Sale price - 10$ per package; but if you weigh each package, some are much lighter, which means you are paying a lot more per gram for those packages.
This is an immoral practice.
This store is part of the Loblaws/President's Choice group. They use immoral business practices to try to fool customers and get them to pay more.
I am sick and tired of the dishonesty and greedyness.
Everyone wants a piece of you; they want more and more money.
Consumers are defenseless.
We need to do something to stop this.

In the last month I have had to return rotten product three times. Also find the cashieres unfriendly… overall I try to avoid this store.

Went to get lean ground beef that was on sale and they were "out of stock". About 50lbs of bulk store packaged lean ground beef on the shelf with different labels for the regular price, which is the exact same stuff. Ended up getting one the next sale and the 1kg package has 925g of meat in it. The meat was weighed with the pad that soaks up the blood in the bottom and counted as product. I was on your guys side because its clear that the federal government is responsible for the cost of groceries going up due to inflation and carbon taxes, but you guys are cleary ripping people off on purpose. I will never step foot in the store again
Edit to reply: Saying sorry because of my "undue concern" is not addressing the fact that you are selling mislabeled packaging and lying about weights. Its not only against the law but immoral. I encourage anyone to weigh any packages that are sold at a fixed price as the 1.000KG packages on sale and they will see they are short. Never mind The fact that you didn't even aknowledge that and your making it sound as if you did nothing wrong is amazing. Not only purposely "running out" of the stuff on sale THE DAY OF THE SALE but misleading customers and screwing them for almost 100 grams is pathetic. Ill make sure to tell everyone I know about your concern for my feelings

Everything is egregiously expensive and they now force you to leave through a cash lane so I actually had to stand in line (behind someone buying groceries) in order to leave. I think it’s absolutely insane that there is no way for customers to leave the store without going through a lane. I have not shopped here since April and wanted to give it a try again, but this really solidifies my decision to never come back.

Be cautious when using their PcExpress pickup. We used the service twice and both times were quite terrible. This last time we were charged for several items ~$20 in items but they were not in the order when we picked it up. We called to inform them of it, and were told we would be credited back. Well the credit never came back! So now we have paid for items we don’t have!
Imagine this logic, we go to a self checkout and forget to scan something… is it theft? Yes. So now using that same logic, they charge my card for items not provided.. is that theft? Also yes.
Just a warning to check your receipts and items closely with this place

I've never felt so much like a criminal last time I went there. I was at the self checkout, and the attendant was watching my EVERY move. It made me feel very uncomfortable and, at one point, accused me of not scanning an item. She even went so far as to paw through my bag, counting the items and checking them on the screen to make sure. I felt like a criminal with everyone at the self checkout staring at me. She treated me like this, and I'm 51. I can't imagine how she treats the younger generation. I have not been there since the incident, and I'm not in any hurry to return any time soon.

Good place to shop...Can get a variety of things..from A to Z...
Update..it was a good experience.. Staff Janet on cash good job...
Edit.
There are other places to shop. They don't have everything I shop for at this time. and a little pricey... The last 2 times I went not good experience at cash out.. All on floor staff helpfully and friendly.. Deli department truly good.
I only go here when I need certain things...I like Midland food land..

The prices have become outrageous and I'm fed up with purchasing produce only to have it go bad a day later. They should NOT be selling produce that only has a day or so left, at full price. Not to mention, each & every week you go in, something you buy regularly, is $3 more?!? This is a daily occurrence. Absolute greed. The store, is beautiful. The cashiers are friendly, the staff around the store have never seemed very friendly. I frequent this store FAR less than I used to.

Store was very busy. Great selection and some really good sales. Like that they have other unique items for shopping and not just food. Very well stocked. Clean store. Didn't speak with any customer service people.

I went to get meat today but all the packages are sitting on shelves with dried crusty blood and other drippings. I left with nothing. How can you put meat on those gross shelves?

Good service is not consistent at this location. I've had very pleasant cashiers and ones that are clearly not wanting to be there.

Galen requires more monetary sacrifices. Continue to consume and pay inflated prices for low quality products.
Place has gone downhill. Produce department is trash. Rotten foods on display or just generally empty or poor quality produce. Lots of empty shelves at times. Slowly devolving into an overpriced, dystopian experience.
I don't blame the employees though. They are just trying to make a living.
