Went in to store for food was abruptly stopped by a rude girl saying no dogs .I explained he was showed I'd very rude.told me to have a vest .she was wrong.called head office no reply ?. Go to different places. Thx

Good place to save a few dollars, good quality and options, excellent checkout staff at the front.
That said, not all the staff on the floor are helpful and pleasant. I have experienced several with attitude challenges which unfortunate.
It hasn't discouraged me from returning because it's nearby and convenient but I can do without the attitude.

I felt disappointed with No-Frills, Midland Ont location. I used to shop in this store all the time when it was ValuMart. I went there yesterday (first visit to the store) and a lot of fruit and vegetables had mold on the bottom. Beans had white mold near and throughout the bottom of the bag. Cantalopes had small bugs crawling on them. The reason I felt disappointment was I am a huge vegetable/fruit person... so bypassing several of what's normally my favorites (not being placed even at a 50% bin) was terrible. It's highly discouraging to walk into a store where spoiled fruit and vegetables are being sold at market price.

Well of course there are some good deals to be had at this new store. But and this is a big but. the prices are not what you would expect from a no frills store. Yes the world economy has gone insane. but that should be a good reason for this store to attest undercut the competition. And sorry it doesn’t. Now one more thing I went to the self checkout today and I was told that I could not use it because I had a shopping cart and the space wasn’t big enough to accommodate the cart. So I went to the normal checkout line and the service was very poor. the young lady just stood there and didn’t even bother to offer to help me as people were lined up in line. and then I had to ask for my receipt she was already on to the next customer.and one more thing on a great note in the store today I met a employee named Carson and he was extremely polite and professional and just what a store like no frills needs in all of their employees.
