No frills advertises itself as prices "won't be beat" and even has a policy to match major local competitors. However, the manager at the store told me they won't match FreshCo so their policy and their guarantee is a load of nothing and they can be beat by FreshCo

I would like to share a disappointing interaction I had today with a manager named “Peter” at this No Frills location; if he is also the owner / franchisee of this store location too, then I would recommend you to talk to your customers in a more respectful manner. I went to a few No Frills stores looking for a specific seaweed from the flyer which was out of stock everywhere so I decided to try my luck at your store. I asked an associate and he didn’t know if they had any and he found the manager named Peter whom pointed me to a different brand / small packages which is not what I was looking for. I then went back to Peter to ask if he had the specific seaweed box that’s on this week’s flyer shown on my phone and instead of answering a simple “no” which would suffice, he in a snarky manner replied “you had already asked my staff to ask me whether we had it, and I had already told him that we don’t have it”. Number 1, I never asked him to ask anyone else and I don’t know what he asked you and what your response was; number 2, you pointed to a different brand/package of seaweed that I was not looking for; number 3, I’m a customer simply looking for something on the flyer and am not here to take your rude and convoluted responses that does not address the question at hand. I truly hope you find your passion again when you first signed up as a franchisee as it’s your customers that are giving you their money and supporting your local business. I echo the other reviews, the store associates are friendly and not so much the management.

Have been shopping at this No Frills for many years and they have always price matched sale items from Freshco and Food Basics. Went to price match yesterday and was told they now only price match Loblaws, Longos and Walmart. So who changed this, the new owner or Galen? Either way, I am very disappointed and will not be shopping here anymore.

Clean and nice shop. Compared to those bigger NoFrills, I prefer this one. Easy to shop and line up at cashiers are always quick. They also have a few self-checkout machines if you want to use them.

Best no frills ever. I like its small footprint. Its not one of those huge lifeless grocery stores. Excellent inventory, especially love the selection of bread and cheeses. THANK YOU for stocking prosciutto cotto. Amazing prices. My go-to grocery store for a stress free experience
