The Good, The Not-So Good & The Ugly:
The Situation:
I sent my Vehicle to Acura of Thornhill for repainting the front left quarter panel under warranty. There was slight peeling of the paint on the edges. They advised me the vehicle would be sent to Supreme Collision Thornhill which is 1.5 kms away. The whole process would take 5 business days. I dropped my vehicle early Monday morning.
Acura of Thornhill is my local dealer and I also have previous experience with Supreme Collision Thornhill with my previous vehicle 7 years ago. This review is going to be solely regarding Supreme Collision Thornhill and my recent experience.
The Good:
- The repainting of the panel was done well. The new paint matched the rest of the vehicle and the panel had been aligned properly.
- The exterior of the vehicle was washed well and looked pretty good when I received it (Not done by Acura of Thornhill).
The Not So Good:
- The vehicle was supposed to be delivered by Friday end of day. But instead it came in Monday end of day and we were notified last minute. I had to go the weekend without it.
The Bad:
- I picked up the vehicle and drove 2 straight days without realizing that my front and rear dash cams had been disconnected. Acura of Thornhill does not disconnect my dash cams as I service with them often. So here are my burning questions:
o Why did Supreme think it was appropriate to disconnect both my dash cams WITHOUT notifying me? Regardless of whatever shop policy they might have – Why was I not notified?
o How did Supreme think it was appropriate to disconnect my dash cams, not notify me, but even worse – not connect them back before delivery? I drove 2 days without a dash cam. If something happened on the road and I needed the assurance of my dash cam footage – would they take responsibility?
- The vehicle came back with noticeable scratches on the rear passenger side door (Pictures attached). I had this vehicle inspected with the service rep when i dropped it off. There were no scratches on this door.
- The vehicle came back with the driver side door exterior window trim loose (Pictures and video attached). I can not get it to snap back into place. Again, this vehicle was inspected with the service rep when i dropped it off. This trim was fine.
- The vehicle came back with 15 extra kms (not including the trip from dealership to supreme and back). Since the dash cam was unplugged without notifying me – I am forced to ask – where did the extra 15 kms come from? I know for a fact that Acura Of Thornhill did not use my vehicle as a customer shuttle as I was on my service rep the entire time.
Conclusion – Apart from the actual work needed which was done well, most of my experience has been pretty bad. I would advise Supreme to start working on these things and i advise anyone else to be more careful!

Fantastic team over at Supreme Collision centre! They are all super kind, honest and helpful. They were super accommodating with all my requests and made dealing with is usually an annoying process, very easy and smooth.

The team there is really professional. I had some heavy repair needs and they finished everything in 1 week. Kevin and Jack are so professional and responded to all my repeated questions and asks so nicely and friendly. The gentleman sitting at the corner is calm and cool also. Great experience.

Hi my name is Ian Conroy, and my wife (Jane Conroy) and I have used Supreme several times over the years. I would like to say that the service from Jack and his team has always been outstanding. They are very nice, and polite, and they care about the client. In addition, the workmanship is just excellent. We just got our car back from a recent service, and I can say that our car looks brand new. Supreme also gives a good cleaning to the interior before returning the car. I brought my car in for a minor repair this week. It was done on time, on budget and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff is always professional and a pleasure to deal with. When I picked up my car it looked like it did 3 years ago when I got it from the dealership new. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Had a terrible awful experience in this location. My car was returned in worse condition than when I gave it in They changed their story several times and refused to take responsibility If you can use ANY other place for your auto work do yourself a favor and do that
