Terrible Customer Service

Terrible customer service. The sales lady I spoke to was very passive aggressive towards my dad for no reason. It started when she needed to see his id to verify that he was the account holder and she went on and on about how he should change his drivers license to his English name to match the Rogers account despite the fact he was able to show her another piece of identification that matched the account. She continued to make snarky comments the whole time and was not even able help me with my phone upgrade by the end of the interaction and told us we would need to call Rogers...
Based on previous negative reviews from a few months ago which I believe are also about her I'm surprised she is still working here.

Came into the store to change cell phone plans and get a new phone. I was a previous rogers customer. Dealt with a few staff members while in the store. All staff members were helpful and friendly. Diksha was especially helpful, patiently explaining the new corporate plan I was signing up for. I had limited time as I had to work later that day. Diksha was fast, efficient and got me on my way.

Be careful of this store, they secretly charge you more money, go back and question them, first they say the money will be returned, then they say they are not sure.

I had a similar bad experience with the sales person at this Rogers location in the markville mall. The sales person is an asian lady who is rude and miserable. Asked her about Apple iphone prices and upgrading my cell service. She acted as if I was bothering her...she was rude..miserable. I left and took my business elsewhere. I get it...she hates her job...but its still no reason to be unprofessional and rude. If anyone from the Rogers head office is reading this post...please consider retraining this employee. She is representing the Rogers brand badly.

In an unfortunately regrettable decision, I was ecstatic to switch from the steadfast embrace of Bell's internet service, seduced by the alluring promises of Rogers just to save a few extra bucks. Ah, what folly! The speed of Bell compared to Rogers was like contrasting day with night – and, regrettably, Rogers embodied the deepest, darkest night. In search of assistance, I turned to their online support, only to find it as futile as a chocolate teapot. Their best, clearly, is never going to come. My request for a credit, after my professional life was jeopardized by recurring Zoom meeting dropouts, was met with a patronizing dismissal. Only area-wide outages, it seems, were worthy of compensation, not my isolated ordeal of disconnection.
Despite promises, no network admins came to my aid, leaving me to feel the sting of neglect. Another week, another vital meeting interrupted. This was not a minor inconvenience but a professionally embarrassing disaster. Therefore, with my optimism undimmed, I decided to return to the welcoming arms of Bell. Yet, the journey was far from over. Canceling Rogers' service transformed into a Herculean task, akin to navigating a labyrinth without Ariadne's thread. An hour spent in chat, parrying their attempts to retain me, reminded me of the timeless wisdom: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Despite their assurances of service termination, the absence of confirmation thrust me into a Kafkaesque state of uncertainty, suspecting the bonds had not been truly severed.
Why, oh why, must the cancellation process be an epic worthy of Homer? It appears I must brace myself for more hours squandered, battling for freedom from Rogers' grasp. It's a farewell as challenging as escaping a black hole. The rating, you inquire? A generous 5 stars out of 100, for in this cosmos of internet service providers, Rogers has been a supernova of disappointment. Never again shall I stray from the path that leads me away from stable internet service. But first, I must actually manage to cancel my service with Rogers.

I called this location Christmas Eve morning at 9am and a young woman answered and I had a few questions to ask her about getting a new IPhone that is out, for my husband. She was miserable and not helpful or nice. At the end of the conversation , I ended up at the Apple Store because the service I got was so much nicer, especially considering the time of year. My husband and I have all our services with Rogers, what a disappointment. I loved going into the store at Markville, not anymore!! Nothing worse then someone making you feel stupid and beneath them when you ask them some questions, that may seem stupid to them but, not to you.

Please consider retraining the store staff on retail etiquette. I recently visited the store to inquire about iPhone 15 pricing. I politely asked the female representative if she can quote me the prices on the 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max to which I was dismissively told "you can check online, it's too much work for me." This unexpected lack of professionalism from a sales associate at Rogers was disappointing, especially considering my intent to make a purchase. I wonder if the rep assumed I would not be buying anything and decided to provide substandard service. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location anymore and have already completed my upgrade at Rogers Scarborough Town Centre. The staff there were far more friendly, welcoming and swift with the transaction. If you're looking for a better alternative, Rogers STC would be it.
