Mostly for Pokemon, but I'm sure it applies to everything else TCG.- Friendly/welcoming atmosphere and clean environment- Helpful and knowledgeable staff all-around (beginner friendly, competitive scene, and general collecting)- Highly recommend collectors to visit (inventory is well organized)- No cap, the most immaculate display for singles I've seen from a card shop***Fair Warning***You might leave with more than you intended to buy ???Super duper grateful for the patience of Yoman and the lady in the front to help me get the items on my list. Ngl it was easy because they were well organized. Y'all Awesome, Thank You ?

As an adult with disposable income, what better way to spend it than on Pokémon cards. Recently embarked on a journey to collect the master set for a new release (Scarlet & Violet 151) so we've been hopping around hobby stores in the area trying to collect them all. I'm new to this addiction, I mean, hobby. But even with my limited research, it's clear to see which of the shops had knowledgeable, passionate, and well-organized staff. The owner of Manta is one of those. He oozed with trading card knowledge and knew things from different releases off by heart. He knew his inventory like the back of his hand so that if we mentioned a card, he had an idea if they had it or not and found it for us. Thanks for helping us to find multiple fat Pikachus for our collection. Outside of Pokémon, Manta has a variety of TCG and collector items. I saw One Piece, Disney, YuGiOh, etc. There's also a sitting area which looks like a place where tournaments are held. You also know a shop is great when you have other shops recommending them, which is how we found Manta in the first place. They came highly recommended from another hobby hot spot of ours (Three Kingdoms).

Great store with a wide selection of Pokemon TCG products at reasonable prices. Their singles collection was also very good.This store seems to have a better sense of community among visitors and would be a great place to get started with playing the TCG competitively.Staff are also friendly and helpful.

The owners of this store is super helpful and welcoming. They're my go to store in Markham and very knowledgeable. Transparent when it comes to product availability, fairness and pricing. I pulled the 151 God pack from this store too! :D I would recommend anyone who is looking into TCG to come check this store out, you won't be disappointed.

While I am no longer playing in tournaments, my husband and I come here for the Pokémon singles, the amazing people, and the best tcg atmosphere. Manta has a solid selection of singles and sealed product with fair competitive prices. The people who attend for tournaments are some of the best players. The owner makes you feel at home and goes above and beyond to help you. Best TCG shop.
