Was quite literally laughed out of the store when in told her i had around 350$ to buy some boots. She told me her cheapest were 479$. No prices on labels so i cant verify this is true, based off of other reviews those prices may very well be changed before purchase. Went to apple and bought some ariats for ~300$ and have been very pleased with them. Service at apple was considerably better than condescending sandy. Go to apple instead.

Attention buyers!
Our recent experience at this store was somewhat unusual, but not really after reading reviews of similar experiences. We went into the store to purchase 6 cowboy hats and had a pleasant experience with the owner's husband. However, when the owner, Sandy, intervened, she informed us that the price of each hat would be increased by $20 at the register, contrary to the displayed price of $84. We pointed out that this practice seemed unethical and illegal, as she was obligated to honor the price on the tag. Unbothered, Sandy claimed she didn't have time to update the prices. Despite leaving the hats behind, I returned to take a picture of the brand and found that she had only increased the price by $10.99, not the $20 she mentioned.

It was my first time ever there. My boyfriend took me for a date day the owner knew my size right off the bat. Very good people and very good products. I would recommend going there.

Sandy went out of her way to get my boot size from her other store location! She really knows how to size your foot properly and has the best selection of boots i’ve seen in Ottawa (on a side note she also has amazing fudge!)

i first called this shop and sandy was pretty rude and didnt seem to want to answer my questions. I asked if she had a specific hat and said i had to come in store because it might not look good on me, then i asked the price for it and wouldnt tell me prices but would just tell me between 70$ to 320$. So i went to buy a different hat and she was very judgy and ended up selling me a hat for 294$. I searched up the model on google and found it for 74$ at apples saddlery.

We are visiting Ontario and we’re so excited to go somewhere with western wear as where we are from it is hard to come by, we have to order everything online.
Found a pair of earrings I loved while my BF was looking at ropes and spurs. I was about to purchase them, the tag said $38. She took the same pair but from further back in the case that said they were $58! I told her the ones I wanted said $38 and she told me “that must be a mistake, we have some new staff”, didn’t bother checking to see if it was a mistake. Didn’t apologize. Was very blunt and rude about it. I wouldn’t be upset if she handled it differently but she was so point blank. We left without buying anything, very bad customer service.

Bad vibes. Owner was pushy and rude. I wanted to try on work boots and she said "Only if you're going to buy them. Are you going to buy them? I won't help tire kickers."
Like lady, how am I suppose to know if I'm going to buy them before I try them on? That's the whole point. Kept mentioning she had a pressure cooker on outside so I needed to hurry. How is that my problem? You're running a retail store.
She also demanded to see my feet to guess my size, which would have been a fun parlour trick if she had guessed correct. Just trust the customer to know their boot size. Boots were overpriced anyway by at least 25-30% compared to other places.
Not a pleasant experience, opted to go somewhere else and next place was world's more helpful.

Lots to look at. When you finish shopping there's a great chip truck right next door to grab a bag of fries.

Stuff inside, but staff didn't seem very knowledgeable.
But nice selection of women's belts, I may be back to get a nice one for my girlfriend.
