If you are a person of colour you will not be treated with respect.
Even if you wear hard hat on top of your turban You will be indirectly forced to remove turban just to make them happy. I am not saying do not follow or make rules but rules should inclusive to all and must be followed by all and shouldn’t be targeting a specific group.

STARTING AUGUST 1ST THEY VE GOT SOME NEW RULES. SAFETY BOOTS NOT SHOES(HIGH NECK MUST) OTHERWISE THEY GONNA GIVE YOU A LIST OF WALMART CANADIAN TIRE TO GO GET SOME HIGH NECK SAFETY BOOTS I REPEAT BOOTS NOT SHOES. SAFETY VEST,SAFETY GLASSES, HARD HAT, LONG SHORTS ON ALL THE TIME AT THE PLANT.
⭐️ TURBAN GUYS WATCH OUT THEY ARE NOT MENTIONING THIS THING ANYWHERE THAT TURBAN GUYS CAN PUT A CHIN STRIP ON YOU HAVE AND MUST HAVE TO FIT THE HARD HAT LIKE HAIRCUT GUYS FIT. IN SHORT AND IN DIRECTLY YOU ARE LEFT WITH NO OPTIONS OTHER THAN TO REMOVE YOUR TURBAN AND FIT THE HARDHAT OR YOU CAN WAIT TILL YOUR COMPANY GETS YOU ANOTHER LOAD OR SOME HAIRCUT FELLOW DRIVER PICKS UP THE LOAD FOR YOU.
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND LACK OF RESPECT.
IF THERE ARE SOME DIFFERENCES OR SOME SPECIAL PROVISIONS YOU MENTION THAT FIRST TO DRIVERS NOT ON THEIR ARRIVALS

There are no excuses if they find anyone without anything they will not load you and turn you back it’s strict instructions from IVACO
Make sure you must have all safety gears on all the times on IVACO property
Also follow all safety instructions on there property

Loading was slow almost 3 hours i stayed there. Overnight parking there, washroom beside parking in building (shipping), behaviour was helpful. You need atleast 4 coil racks and 4 dunnage to load 46000lbs, but it depends upon your load, some loads are more heavy. I had tandem flat.

18/4/24 I checked in 8 in the morning. White guy in blue pu truck came 11.30 whose number was 2010. I said thank god u came it was long wait. He was very rude to me and said u want to wait more. Y man. He said just wait don’t complain u will waiting more longer. Seriously man. Ivaco mill should teach lessons to their workers first. All rules for drivers wear this and that nothing for their own employees. How to behave with others. These kind of rubbish people don’t deserve any respect totally spoiled my day.
