I actually prefer this hardware store to my local one in Alfred. The staff is knowledgeable, items have prices, and the selection is pretty good. I wish they had fasteners like at Home Depot, which has more selection, and you don't get stuck with 10 bolts when you only need 2. But that is the same for all of our local hardware stores
