I've been shopping here for over 20yrs. Under New Management.Owners are Nice and Helpful.The only thing that I miss is the CEREAL ISLE bc now instead of Dare being half an isle which has FOUR Shelves, Filled with all kinds of different Brands of Cereal, the Cereal isle has a tiny section (still with 4 shelves) that has a very limited amount of Cereal and the Prices have gone too far up for what it was before. That I would say is my only disliking for Freshmart.

If you're in need of an item that isn't in your cupboard, the closest Grocery Store is Freshmart. They will either have it or they won't. So, if your item isn't in this store, than you're gonna have to check out one of the Convenience Stores that is in the little town of LLac, which are York Variety or Woodcrest Confectionery. ????

Higher than average prices. You can’t even try to blame it on shipping costs, when nearest grocery store is quite a bit cheaper. The store is dingy, cold in the winter and is lacking selection that should be expected given the higher prices. Seems to be going downhill with each new owner. Predatory pricing, because there’s consumers whom don’t have the means to shop elsewhere.

Lots of people may say pricey, but we live in the remote north! Come on people, transportation costs! Also they get their stock from trucks that are smaller distributors than Loblaws type corporation, so of course Geraldton No Frills is cheaper. DUH! Ya gotta understand business. But the greatest, most pleasant staff and shopping experience for our local small town. Love the fresh baked buns, croissants, and bread made in the store! Best managers, so friendly!

Its way to expensive, anything on sale is NEVER stocked... honestly i grocery shop at YMT Variaty down the street. The corner store is cheaper and they always have stock on all of what they sell. If i dont shop at the corner store then i drive to Geraldton and shop there because even spending the gas to get there is worth not having to shop at Freshmart...The last owners were horible and the new ones are even worse... $$$$$$$$$
