I visited this location on April 18th to talk about the plans on my current two lines. He informed me after looking at my details that there was nothing he could change on my plans but I could call to see what they could do. The man said I had nothing remaining on my device balance that he could see. I called the call center and it said it would be a 46 minute wait. I went over to Fido to see what they could do if I brought the phones over to them. They offered a good deal but I said I need to confirm I would be able to leave Virgin without any other charges. I came back to this store and explained to him the long wait to speak to someone at the call center and what Fido could do in a shorter period of time than waiting on the phone. I asked him again to confirm I would have no charges if I left and he said again No. I port both my numbers to Fido at this point. I received a bill this week with $93 owing from Virgin. I call to find out what this is for and they said the contract was not finished and this was a device charge. They said they couldn't do anything for me. I went back to the location to speak to management. Sakshi(manager) said they are not able to see this information this man gave me that day and they are only capable of doing activations. She said he is just a "Kid" and he is not fully accountable for his actions that day because I should have known. When I ask a question to a service representive, there is an expectation that they are trained and capable of doing therre job to Virgin Mobile standards. I trusted what I confrimed with him twice that day was true based on his position at the store. Sakshi said that I am 50% accountable for this problem, so I suggested we split the bill then 50/50 but she then changed her mind. I asked if I could have the contact information for whoever overseas the retail store(her supervisor) but she said she could not provide it for me. She said I could "Google it" to get contact information for corporate. I scoured Virgin's website looking for a contact or a way to complain and it couldn't be found. I wasn't looking to talk to someone at a random call center, I would like to speak to someone at Corporate.
Let me be clear, The charge is technically what I owe on the phone, but I would have not changed to Fido yet if the man in the store didn't tell me there was no charge, that is my problem. I had no issues with Virgin Mobile prior to the last 3 weeks. I was with them for 3 years and never had an issue. I am writing this to be a warning to customers who use retail stores to be careful and realize they might not be an expert at their job and to clarify what you want from them and what they are telling you.

Subash was the most helpful ever. I tried setting up an account with Virgin through the phone and it was not a good experience at all unfortunately. When I came here to get things sorted I was met with incredible patience and kindness- I left the store a couple minutes ago with a new plan and SIM card breathing a sigh of relief. Thanks so much you guys are awesome.

Anthony was so patient and professional. We are very pleased with the service we got. He had to do extra work on my old phone to upgrade it first. Really good at problem solving. Very sweet.
