The people at Urban Barn are wonderful at helping you buy beautiful things. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience buying our dining room chairs here.However! The return policy is ABYSMAL. We bought a $1,000 coffee table online, which ended up not matching our wood. When we tried to return it, no one had room to take it back, so we had to hand deliver it to the warehouse—another 30 min across town. For the inconvenience, they also charge you a 15% restocking fee. Then we had to wait by the phone for three days with our credit card number and receipt number in our pocket to make sure they gave us back our money. They called me during dinner—and lo! I had neither with me nor had time for a little mid-dinner phone chit chat. I’ve called back and been sitting on hold for an hour with still no answer or call back.Be sure you are 100% in love with your purchase before buying. The return process is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere else, and NOT worth the headache. We’ll shop elsewhere.Update: got a call back while on the toilet. Then still needed to be put on hold to be transferred to an advisor. ?♂️
