Came here to get my laptop fixed, originally they told me it would be around $200 to fix my laptop and then after they ordered the part they told me it would be almost double the original price, but I wouldn’t have done it if he told me that it would be this much from the beginning (which he should have). His excuse for not telling me the whole price was “I didn’t know you also wanted your screen fixed”. So before they did any work on the laptop I asked for a refund and the manager yelled at me, swore at me, and slammed his desk to try to scare and intimidate me. Terrible customer service.

Went this place 4 years ago, i asked them to assemble my computer for me. and then 1 month ago i went there again, because i was suspecting there are something wrong with my sound settings. shout out to my bro Bruno who took great care of my pc and the dust cleaning service was exceptional! Also guys, if u plan to pick up ur devices here, u definitely should bring ur ID. They won't give u ur computer or devices u requested unless ur ID is verified.

This review is from my experiences with TechAlley Computers in 2020, specifically their PC building services.I was new to the PC-building world and tried my hardest to do it myself, but got hung up on wiring. TechAlley took in my half-finished PC, dismantled and re-installed everything properly, and finished the build. Turnaround was only a day and a half. They also offered advice about storage, fresh Windows installation and cleaning. Price undercut other services that I saw by quite a margin, so I was happy about that too.I'll definitely return to them for this if I am feeling under-confident during my next build.

First off I am perfectly happy with the repair and the quick turnaround. But when I went to pay I showed the $10 off coupon that is displayed at the checkout, I was told that I could not use it.

My shopping experience at Techalley yesterday left me deeply disappointed and shocked at the appalling customer service and the low quality of products on offer.I visited Techalley at 12:30 pm with a seemingly simple need: to purchase a USB to lightning cable for my iPhone. The cable I purchased was evidently not an original Apple product, but I trusted the assurance of the sales associate who claimed it was of high quality. Sadly, this was not the case. The cable proved defective almost immediately, showing intermittent charging, sometimes failing to charge at all, or charging at a snail's pace while simultaneously blocking data transfer, proving to be not fit for purpose.Frustrated and inconvenienced, I returned to the store at 3:30pm the same day, expecting understanding, a swift resolution and a simple refund so that I could resolve the issue elsewhere.Instead of the apology or concern I anticipated for selling me a faulty product that was not fit for purpose, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude from not one, but three separate employees, and accusations that the fault lay with my phone or charger, despite both working perfectly with another cable the very same day. Three separate employees denied my refund request and proceeded to ask me to leave the store.The sheer lack of empathy and willingness to address a genuine customer issue left me shocked, appalled, and almost in tears. The dismissive approach to my complaint was neither professional nor compassionate.This shocking customer service was not only hurtful but also deeply surprising. Although I've long championed smaller, local businesses, and am a local small business owner myself, I regret to say that in this instance, I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. The experience was distressing to the point of tears, and I couldn't believe such unprofessional customer service still exists in Canada in this day and age.I cannot speak to their skills in computer repair, but if you are in need of computer parts or accessories, I urge you to consider other options before risking similar treatment at Techalley.I hope that the management reviews their customer service policies, but in the meantime, I cannot in good conscience recommend Techalley based on my recent experience. One-star rating – only because zero stars is not an option.
