Alex answered the phone after I called the Appliance Dept and asked about Bosch dishwashers. He gave me so much information that we drove right down there to buy one after i hung up the phone.
He was not meant to be covering that department, but after I tracked him down, he still spent a good half hour walking us thru Bosch dishwashers. He had an incredible amount of knowledge and talked loud enough for mother to hear him. He even stapled the dishwasher receipt to the inside of the pamphlet instead of the outside 'because light degrades the receipt paper'.
This morning we had called London Major Appliances and asked if the had a Bosch 300 dishwasher, they said "no" and when I asked how long it would take to order one, they said they had no idea.
Alex took that sale with a 2 min phone exchange. Well done Rona+.

My husband & I went to Rona this morning & bought a load of cement stepping stones that were extremely heavy. We asked sales associates in the garden center to help us load them into our truck by using a fork lift.We were told we 'didnt buy enough product to render using the fork life'. So instead, when we asked for extra man power, still no one came to help! Thx for the help, No Help Rona! We'll shop at Home Depot next time! Hard to get help from anyone in stores these days it seems.

What a waste of time .... Went to get some outdoor carpet and ended up waiting so long for someone to show up, even after two pages, that I gave up and left ..... Went 15 minutes down the road to The Home Depot and was in and out with what I wanted in less time waiting for someone at rona...... Moral of the story is just go to The Home Depot and forget rona exists

Service was great from the VIP pro desk. Leslie was very helpful and thorough. Her knowledge is amazing. She handled everything except to build my project.

The website isn't very good compared to home Depot or Canadian tire which tells you the exact place to find something. Most staff do not help find things well.
A 2 month edit: everytime we go the service is just worse and worse. Got a BBQ this time with free assembly. Was told 3 different things on when it would be ready (day if purchase then week of purchase and then unknown). Be prepared whenever you go to be there atleast an hour due to waiting

Took my broken Craftsman ratchet to NW London Rona (twice) to exchange for a new one and I was told the warranty was only good for 90 days with a receipt. Craftsman used to have a No Questions Lifetime Warranty. Craftsman Canada website says that's still the case, but Rona doesn't honour it. No value in a "Lifetime Warranty" at Rona.
I went to the Hyde Park Canadian Tire and they exchanged my Craftsman ratchet for a Mastercraft no questions. I guess I'll be going to Canadian Tire for my tools from now on.

Went to one location, only to be sent to this location, only to be told that they didn't have what I was told by the other store they had. Then made a special order, only to get told two weeks later that they had what we went there for in the first place. So after spending $80 in gas for nothing we got what we needed.

Worst experience!! Placed order and one of their employee called and said - "I will cancel your order we do not have stuff it is rona fault they put this item on sale"
I was like ?. Told her you cannot cancel my order without my approval and you are destroying rona reputation by saying this. Hang up my phone!! Manager call me back and told me stuff will be ready on April 30 for sure!! Guess what- i did not even receive a single call from their store about delay in my order no call no email!! Still waiting for my order to be ready !! Dont go to rona this location!!
