I’m glad my experience wasn’t as bad as other reviews I’ve seen, wow! The store is cute and the building is quaintly old, the person I asked questions of was completely uninterested in actually trying to find the things I wanted, only doing one search before going back to saying “no we don’t have it.” Speaking of which, the selection is mostly modern and rather small, not much variety either. It’s like a, by comparison, tiny Chapters with terrible computer resources and employees that maybe don’t care?

Not impress with the variety. Went looking for an Oxford dictionary and they didn't had any.

In a time when book retail is dominated by the box stores, who are being worked over by online stores like Amazon, this store is a welcome refuge for the book shopper.Having a good selection for its size, this store is an appealing alternative for the book buyer with a more personal retail service in the London Downtown area.
