All of the staff I encountered at this location were wonderful! Chantelle helped us find the perfect wedding band and made the purchasing and pickup process simple for us as we have to travel a fair distance to London! She also offered alternative options and called me personally when my ring was ready :) we have had great experiences at the locations in Kitchener and London :) definitely recommend!

Location was a little hard to find in the mall, but once I found it, I was welcomed by a very friendly team. Helpful and informative. Still deciding on my purchase, but I will definitely be back soon!

Wish I could give zero stars. I bought my wife’s engagement ring in 2021 with the lifetime warranty. We get the ring inspected every six months as per the warranty. My wife recently brought the ring to the Masonville store to be inspected as the diamond was loose. Two weeks later, we went to pick up the ring and the diamond is now cloudy. We spoke with a very nice lady (I forget her name) who agreed with us that there was something wrong with the diamond. She then directed us to the assistant manager, Tanisha.Tanisha argued with my wife saying that theirs nothing wrong with the diamond- clearly we have never had an issue until now. The assistant manager was rude to my wife. I stepped in to save an argument. We left the ring to speak with a private jeweler about the matter. In the mean time, Tanisha called both my wife and I to explain that the diamond had an inclusion- but it was never noticeable until now. I requested to speak with the manager of the store several times, but they were “busy” at the time. No contact information was provided when requested.I then requested the contact information for the general manager, she would not provide their information.I have spent thousands of dollars at this establishment in recent years. Never will I ever spend a single cent here. I would caution anyone before purchasing jewelry from Michael hill. Especially the Masonville location

Tanisha (assistant manager) will take care of you so well! She made sure everything was perfect. It was an experience I had never felt at a jeweler before.

I have an unworn half eternity ring that needed sized from 5.5 to 6.25. I took the ring to Michael Hill in the Masonville Mall who told me they could resize the ring in two weeks for $100. When I decided to proceed, I was then told that since the small diamonds took up half of the ring that I might need a new shank and that would cost $350. I was not interested in doing that so it was sent it off asking for a confirmation that it could be sized without compromising the stones before starting the work. I waited two weeks to find out it could be, but now it wasn't the stones that were the problem, it was the shank. It would now cost $140 to ensure that the shank would not become too thin when resized. I’ve had many rings resized and this has never been a concern, especially with such a small resize. I have been given a different story with every person I have talked to at MH. It has been difficult getting straight information and now I doubt any information I am given. I planned to give this ring as a gift and now it will NOT be ready as promised. I have asked to have the ring returned un-sized and have vowed to never trust Michael Hill with a repair or purchase in the future. Michael Hill needs to correct their business practices so other customers are not disappointed, confused, and/or taken advantage of. PS: I spoke to the store manager and she feels that her staff have followed company protocols and there is little else that can be done to resolve this issue.

My fiancé purchased my engagement and wedding ring online from Michael Hill three years ago. Michael hill was closed during COVID and I had it resized at another jewelry store that was opened. A few months ago my diamond fell out randomly. We took it to Michael Hill to get it fixed. Due to the fact that it was resized at another location and supposedly super damaged by them, they quoted me $6000 to repair my ring and said they’d just be happy to help us pick out a new ring set. The set was around $2000. They refuse to resize the other ring. I went to another jeweller this weekend and they quoted me $400 to repair the ring ??In less than 3 years of having my ring set, my diamond has already fell out. Quoted $6000 to repair a $2000 set and it took over a month to get my set back. Would never purchase any jewelry from them again. Flagging for anyone thinking of purchasing from them.
