One of our favourite places to stop at when visiting London. Everything you are looking for in all your outdoor needs! Love when they have sales since things are pricey. Worth it also because you can’t find these things anywhere else.

Ordered good set of puncture resistant Continental bike tires. Order ready next day. Very helpful chap in bike section helped me get the right tubes and tire removal tool. Very courteous and helpful staff. Worth the drive up from St Thomas and better service than the bike shops in St Thomas.

I have always been a fan of MEC until now. Placed an order for products in stock on July 27th for a trip I was leaving on August 6th. 7 business days/10 days.
Getting ready to leave for my trip and only a couple products have arrive. The most important items won’t arrive for another 3-4 days.
12-13 days delivery is not a reasonable delivery time, I called and spoke with support and was told the best they will do is provide me a “free” return shipping label. $11.95 value.
For a company that doesn’t make products just buys from a supplier then resells this is horrible service. I will no longer shop with MEC or MEC online. Maybe Amazon next day delivery has ruined me. But as far as I am concerned 5 days would be a reasonable delivery time. Not 12-13.
Very disappointed.

As an avid hiker, MEC has been my go-to place for hiking gear. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. While some of the best brands can be quite expensive, they always have items on sale and their own MEC label products offer good value and quality.

We bought the Leatherman multi tool.
We bought it for camping, the screw driver broke in minutes and the blade snapped. We paid around $70 thinking we bought it from mec that it would be a solid piece of equipment. Not the case the steel snapped like a twig.
It automatically gives five stars... not the case. No stars

Very disappointed with the customer service. My husband & I went in to look at EDC and items for a potential European motorcycle trip we are considering. We left for two reasons and won’t return. The first is the products we were looking for were far below the standard we usually get but did understand that we tend to need to access these at a less generalized retailer. The second was that we felt like we were being judged and watched in case we were going to try to steal a tent by putting it in my purse. Definitely do NOT recommend.
