Good price and the meat on these filets tastes fine - nothing funky. That being said, filets should not be full of gristle. In the case of the four (4) I purchased, all had a thick line of gristle running through the center. Again, the quality of the beef is fine, the cut of the beef is poor. M&M Meats needs to speak to the butcher here cutting the meat and explain to this person that those who buy filets - in my view - are probably like me and eat their beef blue to rare and thus, buy this cut to avoid the fat and gristle.

5 minutes late to pick up a $130 pre-order on Christmas Eve. Traffic was horrendous and they had moved from Adelaide to Highbury.They wouldn't open the door. Lights on. People in the shop.Christmas dinner had no apps, no dessert, and no chocolates for the kids. The food I was buying for gifts? Well that meant our home care help didn't have seafood to take home to her family, which I had promised.So utterly disappointed.Closing hours for the holidays not posted on the website.Never going back again.
