To say that their customer service is poor would be an understatement. The woman at the front desk is absolutely miserable and nasty to deal with. I don’t need to be berated when I ask simple questions.

We have been coming to Herm's ever since our son was in novice hockey. It is the only place he would ever let us sharpen his skates until his last minor hockey year. The knowledge, professionalism and expertise they provide is just amazing. As we all know, buying new equipment for any sport is costly. Herm's always made it an easy process, allowing us to bring in gently used equipment towards a credit for new throughout the years and the rapid growing of our son. We sincerely appreciate Herm's and can't recommend them enough.

I went to this store today to discuss a skate exchange but nobody was interested in helping me. They just left me at the back all alone while the guy walked up to the front to chat with the lady working the till who was no help whatsoever and didn’t care about customer service. So I told her I’m leaving and going to Source for Sports instead. I bought my skates there and always get excellent treatment at Source for Sports. I’ll never step foot in Herm’s again and I’ve been playing hockey for 45 years in London. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield “I get no respect”. All the men were being looked after by the way. No surprise there.

I’ve been coming to Herm’s for what seems like forever. The staff have always been helpful with anything I’ve been looking for (which is always hockey gear). I’ve spent countless dollars on skate sharpening, and gear with no disappointment in the selection or service. If you’re looking for used gear in great condition come here. New gear? Come here too!Saturdays and Sundays can be a bit hairy (it’s located next to a three pad arena) due to traffic, but just ask for help, or try stopping by during the week. Thank you Herm’s!

Went in looking to purchase a fair amount of hockey gear. After being ignored by employees we were apparently in the way. Was asked to move by 3 separate employees. This was while struggling to reach for items. Grabbed one of the items we needed and proceeded to line up to check out. My husband went to look behind the counter to try and find an item. Had another employee come up behind him, rudely tell him to move and not ask if there was anything he needed help with. Will not return.

Was in town for a hockey tournament and came to this store for a very specific item they isn’t easy to find. Not only did this store have the item, but they literally have anything and everything you could possibly need. If you are a goalie, this is the place. To top it off, the staff are absolutely amazing!

Walked in looking for used skates for a four year old walked out 1 hour later with fitting skates (sharpened ask well). Used skates ..children change skate sizes too rapidly otherwise

By far, the most experienced and skilled skate experts in the city work here. I have been taking my skates here for nearly 20 years and the employees at Herms do the best job allowing me to perform my best on the ice. I never let anyone else touch my skates. Thank you Herms.

I went today to get my skates sharpened and the men behind the desk were super nice to get me going and it didn't take long at all. Very impressed with the customer service.Even better the lovely lady on cash rang in my skates and protectors and as I was paying she took them out of the package to put on my skates. I am not fully knowledgeable but she gave me some good tips and super helpful!Amazing experience! Will continue to come back for my needs!!
