Some absolute gems to be found here, and a great way to upcycle, and shop ethically, whilst helping those in need.
Wonderful! I bought my refrigerator from here, & various pieces of furniture, plumbing & building supplies & tools. More stores please!

October 1, 2024 I was here and there was a dresser on hold for Paige. I asked if I could purchase if she didn’t show up for it by the end of the day. The lady said be here 9am and you are allowed to purchase it then. Since the item was not paid for in advance.
Today October 2, 2024 I was there at 9:03am I was told I wasn’t allowed to purchase because it was being held for another day. Reasoning was because items were held as a package deal that I wasn’t allowed to buy it and they were giving them another day. Absolutely terrible business practices. To hold items and then keep holding then in hopes that customer returns.
Now first off I’ve been to your site it says you do not hold items due to the nature of the items. I’m sure many others would agree with this statement. That the person who’s in the store with cash in hand should be able to purchase the item. As oppose to what just happened that you’re more worried about holding it for Paige who I’m guessing doesn’t get paid til Thursday.
So if me and ten buddies come in separately and put like 5 items on hold for a package deal for days. Would that hold the entire furniture department?
I highly suggest you change your “hold policy” in store and not cater to the “Paige’s” that come into your store.

Hi there, critical reviewers such as I! ~♡
I'm here in the low reviews so that you'll see my review easier! As someone who's cautious about buying furniture... I ALWAYS check and read ALL the BAD reviews before buying! This is MY review...
I would like to share my good experience gone bad, gone good again. I used to work at a furniture store after my dad did, so, I kinda know what goes on behind closed doors.
These people here do not deal with third-party company and will handle your complaints directly. Hear me out...
I bought a huge order. Couches, corner cabinet, rocking chair, chairs, patio set and a couple other things. Delivery was a standard price. Delivery day comes around and they forgot some of my pieces of furniture! Ugh, right?! However, my husband and I called in to complain and they took full responsibility. They said they were going to push it to early next week for delivery or refund our delivery fee.
We thought, "Wow, okay, that's already above and beyond most furniture stores!" We gave them another chance. Their poor luck, it's been raining for 3 business days, so we called back on the sunny day that week. They couldn't make it out. A week later. We mentioned that we were owed a refund and absolutely no arguments. They apologized prefously. The experience was actually refreshingly professional and extremely accommodating. They made a mistake and they fixed it. They are very humble, in my experience. I'm sure if I waited another week that they would indeed bring me the rest of my furniture.
Alas, I was being impatient. As most buyers tend to be. I wanted my items right away at this point...
They loaded up our truck as we wanted our items right away, not a problem, they started off with giving us our refund, no questions asked, apology again and they helped us with the items to our truck, they apologized again even and all I can say is that is refreshingly professional. Extremely friendly, very professional, very kind and just so helpful these people.
Also, an extra tidbit, they accidently broke a piece of furniture in the move the first time around, called us directly and advised us, even offered to fix the piece AND THEY DID! They fixed it real good too!
Just so everyone is clear, I was being an angry Karen on the phone, I was all frustrated, pissy and what not, and they actually helped a lot. They didn't get angry or argumentative with me. Not once. Not any person I talked too. All nice. They did everything a business should do to compensate a mistake. They apologized and refunded me. This is good business. These people care. They care about what they do and how they do it. That's the kind of store you want in your life.
They made me feel sorry for being an angry Karen. They're THAT good.
Again, I'm someone who's worked at furniture stores before, I want to tell y'all that these prices are very reasonably priced. The items in the store aren't shabby to the point of not being able to sell them. It's real GOOD used stuff. I furnished my whole house with these people and despite their mistake, I am extremely happy with them.
I will be shopping here again.
I would give delivery another chance.
Good people, good items, good store.
I know that my review says 1 star, and some people might think this experience is bad enough to be a 1 star, however I think everyone can see this is actually a 5 star place. Nobody reads the good reviews, only the bad ones.
So here's your "bad review."
Give this place a chance.
It's worth a browse too.
Great finds.

I love this place!! So many beautiful and solid furnitures! I got a beautiful La-Z-Boy here for $30!! The cushion is still very supportive and bouncy, like nobody has ever sit on it for more than a month! It was dirty and has a few small cigarette burns, the foot rest could not pop up unless manually pulling it out. But it is a real La-Z-Boy made in Canada in 2003, which means it’s made of solid wood and steel, much better quality than a new one these days, and can always be prepared. After I have cleaned it with a carpet cleaner and oiled the mechanism at bottom, it looks clean, cute and can fall back more properly. It’s so comfortable that my cat claimed it immediately as I put it down and got the “sold” sticker on her butt then running around complaining loudly for a while.
PS: If I have a bug infestation in the future, I’m gonna come back and change my answer.

Whoever is in charge here needs help. If the buck stops with the manager then they need to be held accountable. They price things way too high. Costco, Home Depot, Rona and home hardware sell the same things, new, for cheaper or the same price.
You can find deals here but you really have to look or get lucky.
Should be a place for deals to help families in need. The pricer needs help.

Able to find lights, bathroom vanity, and cupboards, as well as a bowl wash basin. "Guys" at loading were excellent help loading. Great deals!

I recently visited Habitat for Humanity’s furniture store and was dismayed by the lack of transparency in their operations. It’s troubling to witness certain quality furniture pieces being withheld by the manager instead of being offered for sale to support the organization’s mission. Additionally, the negligent display of items in need of repair is disheartening.
As a supporter of Habitat for Humanity’s mission, I urge for improvements in the management and handling of donations to ensure fairness and integrity in their retail practices

It used to be one of my favorites. Not only fo affordability but also because I like to avoid useable stuff from going to landfills. But lately there is not much stuff in store and prises are also quite high and comparable to new items. It makes you think if its worth to buy used or new.
