My friend had a bad haircut at First Choice. The stylist didn’t listen to what he wanted, and the cut turned out uneven. We left feeling upset. I hope the salon can improve.

not equipped for Black hair, which is disappointing, even if it’s not surprising. Is it 1924 or 2024? —this shouldn’t still be a thing. Not inclusive for all people.

Amrit was amazing, we were so pleased.
He was very accommodating considering my Son and I got there 30min before the scheduled closing time.

I have never experienced my "first choice" because, except for the crowded first visit over a year ago, the staff have always been unfamiliar ... but quite acceptable.
Today, It was the chance for a Fanshawe undergraduate to prove herself ... result; misery -- No idea between a #1 or #2; No idea of a side-parting; Necessary to quickly shout stop to avoid baldness around the requested "over ears", thus the sides became #0.5 and the top #3 noted by a distinct line (step) between the white side hair and the darker top (Not "cool" with octogenarians).
Out of curiosity, looking at the transaction record later, I asked if there was a senior's discount. The reply, "I didn't know if you were a senior". What !! Really !!
Hair type: Grey.

I’ve been a customer at this location for years, living in the Oakridge neighborhood. I have never left unsatisfied until today. I overheard a male hairdresser and customer discuss their negative and borderline hateful views about LGBTQ people “pushing it on everybody” and how “they should go somewhere else”.
Nobody should have to endure hurtful and polarizing rhetoric waiting for a bloody haircut. Needless to say my appointment was cancelled after I briefly expressed my discontent and stormed out.

I LOVE my new haircut! Between my vision, and Rebecca's expertise, she was able to give me the most versatile hair cut I've EVER had! I don't know how she did it, but she created a cut that I can create multiple different looks! My hair straightens with defined layers, can curl with an iron, and now has quite a natural curl that I didn't even know was possible..a wash and go!My child was just as happy as I was with the new hair-do! Well done!All the staff were friendly, taking the time to treat each client with undivided attention to their hair.The price was right, and the wait time was under 20 mins....I had called a few hours ahead...they were quite accommodating.We'll definitely be back!

My mother and I came in without an appointment a couple of weeks ago and both had our hair cut by a young gentleman who was running the store by himself. He offered wonderful accommodation and really listened to what we asked for. I admit I was nervous about my end result at the time, but he actually did a fantastic job and gave me a cut that will look good as it grows out. I didn't catch his name, but I absolutely would go back to have my hair cut by him again.

Top-notchI started going here a few months ago and Nancy is my hairdresser and I couldn't be happier. I suffer a bit from anxiety and she made me feel comfortable, gave me great hair advise too!Everyone that works there is wonderful, will be back.
