This was my first time going wedding dress shopping and it was fun and exciting, but very confusing and almost awkward. As soon as we came in some of the workers told us to go look around at dresses, and when I told her which ones I liked she seemed very surprised and almost judgy. When I was trying the dresses on she wouldn’t come in and help me, and told me she wasn’t going to do up any of the buttons because it was too much work. We then went to Sophie’s Gown Shoppe and it was a completely different experience, she asked question about my big day and made it a very personal experience. She even came in and helped me get everything fitted right . I recommended you go to Sophie’s for the best experience !

The staff as excellent and very helpful. The only negative thing is the cost of alterations. To put a small shoulder strap and hem a dress cost nearly as much as the dress! It was around $180!! That’s outrageous. The material was maybe $10 for a small strap. At my final fitting the seamstress had to alter it 3 times while I waited. After seeing the dress on again I decided it wasn’t going to be the best option for me, as Mother of the Groom. I drove to the mall and a wonderful staff member helped me pick a beautiful dress. It fit like a glove and was perfect. Again, the staff at David’s were exceptional. The alteration costs are unreasonable.

My intention was a quick walk in and get the dress asap but boy oh boy I was wrong. I was truly grateful for squeezing me in with a consultant who beautifully helped me choose a design under my budget and without disregarding my wants. The stylist was soo wonderful, helpful, and accommodating with the perfect look for me. Highly recommend David's bridal.
