For the record, I should preface this review by saying that they sell really well-made and good quality stuff here, and the service is very good as well. On my last visit, I went in to buy a specific item I saw listed on their website. I checked their website again right before I went inside, which said the thing was still available, but it turned out it had already been sold. They were very apologetic about it, but to be honest I felt very disappointed. Oh well, I'll try them again at some point for their excellent products and service.

Extremely disappointed in how I was treated today, I really wish the owner could have seen this.. The jeans I purchased from here needed to be shortened and brought in more at the bottom, I was told just told No I will not have my tailor do that. The young man was ignorant to me as soon as I stepped in the door. They were not tailored the way we had them pinned and I simply wanted them adjusted. I immediately went to a different tailor and they had no problem adjusting the pants the way I wanted them done. I have purchased multiple items from this store over the years and will NEVER be returning!

We came to David E. White for a groom’s suit. Brian was helpful from the moment we walked in the door. He took in details of what we were looking for and showed us all the options and added a little creativity of his own that helped to realize our vision all the more. Brian always treated our purchase as important, even if it wasn’t likely to be his most profitable sale for that month. He took the time to do multiple fittings until the groom felt it looked perfect. He took our opinions seriously at the same time giving helpful suggestions. He made sure to connect with me on dress colours, even bringing in a selection of ties that complemented the bridesmaid’s dresses. We were so pleased we chose to purchase with him!

You can’t go wrong shopping at David E. White. The quality and selection of clothing is fantastic and Brian and David are amazingly helpful and friendly. And if you really want to treat yourself get a shave and a haircut from Ken or Walter.

I walked in. The salesperson was speaking to the only other customer in the store. He saw me and that I walked around the entire store clearly looking for something (a scarf) but he never acknowledged me once. If they aren’t interested in me shopping there, I’m not interested in shopping there.
