This is my favourite book store of all time!!!
The staff are exceedingly friendly, and always around if you need help finding anything. They're all avid readers so they are able to recommend a book for you in most sections of the store.
Most of the employees have been there for more than a year so it's almost like they appear out of thin air just when you turn your head to look for help, even in the most remote regions of the store. Lol. They'll know how to find the item you're looking for without doing multiple laps around the building.. with you in tow.
The inventory is always current, so you won't be days or even weeks behind reading your book club's newest selection.
When you first walk in right beside the "New Releases" section, there is the "Staff Picks" collection. Ive read many of the books they display here, and my time has not been wasted. They have taste and clearly intelligence to go with it. (I mean that in all sincerity). Lol.
For parents there is a rather HUGE children's section. There are books, toys, and even clothes for your little one.
I almost forgot to mention there is a pretty large clearance area straight through the store near the washrooms that holds a treasure or two for anyone, in any genre, even various candles, bookmarks, kitchen ware, decor, accessories, or whatnot.
You could spend a comfortable few hours browsing their wares and not even realize it!

Great selection yet a little expensive for items other than books. Staff are great and helped my son and I with several questions and requests. We will definitely go back as we found a few books and products that caught my attention and would be excellent learning opportunities for my young boy.

This is my local bookstore. It's adequately large and has plenty of variety. Just like with Indigo and Coles, there's always a gem to find here. I've never had a problem with any staff members, and I appreciate that there are a couple nooks to read in. They should add a few more.

We visit this chapters often for books and so far it has been an ok spot for reading and purchasing books. Not many employees are friendly but today our visit and experience was made exceptional by one of their amazing and funny staff member, a tall gentleman with glasses named Michael. He even informed my daughter and I of the Evanescence concert coming up. Very kind! Keep up Michael !

Michael at the front counter today: I left with a smile on my face today thanks to Michael . He noticed an error on my account and took the opportunity to fix it for me . He shared with me that he is passionate about making sure accounts are correct and that customers are taken care of. Michael is ambitious, passionate and the type of employee anybody would be grateful to have . Thank you, Michael !

Still a great chapters! No more Starbucks and they (like all chapters) have removed most of their computer stations for look up. Staff is still wonderful!
Helpful staff, free parking, yummy Starbucks attached. Always have kitchy stuff on sale. Great for all ages.

Easily the best Chapters I have encountered and I've been to many in Ontario. The staff are excellent and I am always impressed to see managers working on the floor and pitching in. I've been a long time customer and will continue to drive out of my way to this particular Chapters! Honestly sorry I never thought to post 5 stars until now #facepalm

Selection of books and other entertainments is almost too good! Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. It is where I go when I'm in need of a good read.
