When I visit the shop, I'm always told what needs done asap and what can wait for later. When I had an issue that required special equipment, I was told, honestly, that only a few places could do the work. No lies, no massive bills, and the work is always done that day. I've gone here for years.

Fantastic service!! Short story - my wife took her vehicle to a local Ford dealership for a safety check. It’s a newer vehicle with extremely low mileage. Ford said it needed $3000 in repairs to pass a safety check. I thought that was crazy. Called Art at Byron Tire & Auto and he not only got my wife’s vehicle in that same afternoon, but performed all necessary work, including the safety inspection fee for less than a third of what the Ford dealership was going to charge! Great service, great price, great work. Highly recommend this business!

Great shop and staff. The night before I was to take my car in I landed in the hospital. My wife was able to get the car in and Hugh opened early for her. They completed the car in about 6 hours for us. A great stress relief.

In your response to my recent review Art, your initial diagnosis was that the old tires were not road worthy. I agreed you should remove them and send them for recycling. I was shocked to discover you refit them back to their original rims and charged me $240 for the service when you reported they didn't fit the Beetle. Why didn't you call Leavens and request the info you needed to fit the new tires on the new rims?Your response to my objection regarding the $240 fee was, "It was not as if you lost an eye over this!" Several neighbours have also mentioned your poor attitude and quality of work. There are two other excellent garages in Byron and I contend your business is far from profesional.I paid Hansen's Tire to install new rims on the Beetle and their personnel were empathic and professional in completing the job.Check Yelp to see other reviews who express similar issues with your service. I contend, 'caveat emptor' is good advice when dealing with Byron Tire (Signature) Auto Repair.

In response to a first time customer regarding his request to change out his existing rims & tires on a V.W beetle to a set of rims that he brought in. We did the job as requested & then realizing the rims (which were volkswagen rims) did not fit the car. Called the customer & explained that we now had to put the tires back on the original rims that were on the car & naturally would have to pay for doing the service that he requested we do twice. At a later date he informed us that there is an adapter kit that V.W. sells to allow an incorrect rim that is not the proper rim fitment for the car. We called the dealer & according to them no such kit is available. Unfortunately this customer is unaware of the time spent in doing what he asked for comes with a fee.We asked that he bring the vehicle in so we can see this adapter but we have yet to see the vehicle.

I requested Byron Tire and Auto Repair to install new rims on a VW Beetle. Later that day, the owner phoned to say the rims did not fit the Beetle and reinstalled the original tires on the old rims and charged $240 for the service. When I checked with the VW dealership, they said there was a fix for the issue but Byron Tire chose not to explore it. Caveat emptor is good advice when dealing with this business.

I noticed a screw on one of my tires this morning and decided to stop by to ask for help. Even without an appointment they took my car in and fixed the tire right away. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.
