Im a regular client of Loblaws and until recently I have been fairly satisfied. The last few times I shopoed at the store I have extremely disappointed. Shelves were empty, unable to get on sale products as they were sold out and customer service at the tills was awful. It was extremely busy with a long line up for the one till open and self service was also noticeably backed up. After a long wait I got to the till only to have the girl push my groceries through, crushing chips and bread. She was overworked and short with me i had a full cart and was attempting to pack my groceries, i felt rushed and she refused to help or even slow down. I paid for my groceries and continued to pack the remainder . She put another customer's groceries through the till where my articles were waiting to be packed. These last couple months have made me rethink my grocery store choice. Its unfortunate.

Everytime I come here for something I always get push back from the cashiers. This time, I decided to buy some flowers which were in a bucket for $11...they were coming up in the system at 12.95. I brought it up to the cashier that they were advertised as $11. She looks at me and says "it's saying their 12.95". Yes, I get what your saying but that's not the point I'm trying to make. Stop arguing with your customers and just mark it down as the price advertised. False advertising is against the law. Thanks for ignoring the problem with no positive conclusion.

The pharmacy computer terminals visible to customers and service counters are very dusty and dirty

Normally, they seem to have a good selection of stuff in the produce department 440 Friday evening about 10 premade Caesar salad nothing else when I asked if there’s any more salads I was told it needs to be empty so that’s all there is I’m sure they’re overworked and underpaid but it would’ve been nice to have a little bit better customer service

Was there today and only had one register open at 12 noon the line up was unbelievable more then 75 customers waiting in line and the self check out wasn't much better at lest 25 plus waiting .Don't think I'll be back to that store. People were just pushing the carts to the side and walking out of the store

Prices here are unbelievable. Bought toddler formula for $22 on Dec 15th and the same formula today shows 29.99 on the tag. That’s a pretty big jump for less than 2 months. Then the worst part when I rang it in at the checkout it comes out as $33.99. Are you kidding me? An $11 jump in only 2 months. We’re all getting scammed by Galen in his mansion while we are just trying to feed our families. Sadly only loblaws and shoppers drug mart sell the formula I need in this town, pathetic. I’d rather drive to Oshawa or Peterborough to avoid this paying these ridiculous prices again.

I have been shopping here for the last 3 years and up until recently it has been good. In just the last month I have purchased my groceries here on 3 occasions with a few pop ins for items I needed last minute. The quality and stock of the produce is poor, the meat I have purchased is been off within a week sometimes before I have cooked it (mainly the whole chickens) and there seems to always be product on the shelves that is within a day or 2 of being expired. I purchased a bottle of PC bottled tea which when I got home I found that it expired a week prior. The funny thing was there was someone stocking the exact shef I took this item from, so basically they were stocking expired product. Today I purchased milk that is near the expiry date also. I know I should have checked and that is on me for the milk but come on this is happening way too much.In addition it appears that there is NEVER more tha one or two cashiers resulting in long lines.I can only imagine that they are cutting back on hours and quality to improve their profit margins.I personally will be considering alternative grocery stores and would suggest others do too. If not be very careful with the expiry dates on the items you are purchasing .... all the items as none seem to be exempt.

Absolutely ludicrous that I needed to find a manager to resolve the line up back to frozen foods. One regular cashier open and self checkout. On a good note they resolved the problem and opened up 3 additional lanes when manager got complaint. Not at all the fault of the staff. Poor management of resources

Horrible wait times lately. They must of cut all employee hours? tons of people lined up and waiting and about 2 employees on the floor working…terrible for a store that has had record profits. Profit over service is the name of the game I guess?
