My husband purchased a ruby ring surrounded by diamonds in 14K gold. All he got was a cash register receipt. No Certificate. He called the next day and asked for one. He was told he had to purchase one for $50. Who sells a ring that you claim was valued at over 6K without a certificate? He also asked why there was no certificate with this ring and others come with one as the girl said that was the case and the one my husband purchased did not come with one. She would not answer the question.. how does he know what he has bought? As he understands it, this is a real ruby, not engineered, and the diamonds are also real. We don't know the karat of the ruby other than the girl said it was 3K and have no idea what the cumulative karat of the diamonds is. I find it very disturbing that you would not supply a certificate with a ring of this value. What is the reason??? JanTo follow-up on above review. I was contacted by Irene at Griffith Jewellery and the end result is that they will issue me a letter of authenticity for the purposes of insurance which is what I really needed. I love the ring, especially since my husband chose it for me. Lesson learned however, that you need to ask the sales clerk when shopping if the gems are mined from the ground or lab generated. Other jewellers tell you up front while you are shopping or it is posted with the description. In view of the above I have changed my review from 1 to 4 due to the customer service from Irene in response to my original review.Jan

Do not get a gift receipt for your purchase it is useless. If they don't have the item larger or something for around the same price they will give a credit only. It seems like a plot to make customers purchase something and have to put more money with it. Loved ones do not purchase from this store if you don't live near by because you can not return an item without the original receipt and the card you purchased it with. What is the point of the store giving gift receipts?

Hi , a few days ago i was very disappointed in my necklace purchase as i was informed it was sold gold and it turned out the necklaces was gold plated and just the pendant was gold. This was a gift from my mom with stage 4 cancer as it was a skeleton key to her heart just in case she didn't make it. Fortunately, she was ok, and when i posted it, the owner not only saw it, she called me and replaced the necklaces 18 k gold at her own cost to say i was touched beyond belief. This was above and beyond her job, and I can never thank her enough. But thank you, you'll never know how much this ment to not only me my mom as well so thank you from the bottom of my heart xxoo

I purchased a Ring for my best man and Earrings for my wife. The sales lady gave me a price, tax in for the ring. I checked the receipt when I got home and realized they charged me $40 more than what she told me the price would be. I called the next day and they told me there’s nothing they can do about it and they didn’t know the next time the sales lady would be in. The lady that helped me that day was great (only reason for 2 stars), other than that I’m disappointed with the way this was handled. Returning my items and taking my business elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here.

I walk by here frequently and most times, I get a smile from one or two of the associates here and I'm not even a customer! I did however, go in about a month ago with a question about my Pandora bracelet as it's a wee big (I thought so anyway) but one of them helped me realize that the more charms I add on, I will actually want it to be on the roomier side, ( I only have 4 charms) and it made sense. She got another associate in on the advice too and since they were both wearing theirs, I got to see them 'in action' and was able to picture it better.Thanks ladies!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Griffin’s in Lindsay. All the staff was wonderful to deal with and everyone was very friendly. As soon as I walked in someone was there to assist me and answer any questions I had. I went in to buy gold hoops and they had so many options to pick from! This was my first time buying gold hoops and I am very pleased with the ones I bought. They are amazing quality! I highly recommend Griffin’s to anyone and I will definitely be going back again!

Quality of jewelry is not the best. Rude employees, lack of customer service. 6 girls working and not one came to help. But yet they were b*tching about their commission, they were rude and judgy so I took my business elsewhere.

Got the best customer service at this Griffin location. I was helped by Danielle who is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to buying a engagement ring lol. I had no idea what to pick but after I told her about my wife to be she had the perfect ring for me. She said YES..... Thank you Danielle
