Went to this location to purchase a new air purifier for my home. Upon entering the self checkout area the older woman who was attending it immediately was telling me how to use the self checkout area. I didn’t ask for help I’ve used them many of times before “ you need to press start” and then “ it needs to be put down on this side it needs the weight” which is something I fully understand but you didn’t even give me a second to put it down before giving me attitude on where it put the item once I scanned it. She then took over for me which honestly I did not like at all I entered self checkout because I didn’t want to talk to anyone but just pay for my item and leave. She then proceeded to tell me my card declined (which in fairness anything over $250 will not work with tap so I will give her that) I then inserted my card and it approved. The woman then loudly said “ did it say approved?” with attitude. I replied with Yes? She then proceeded to load the air purifier into my cart which I was more than capable of doing on my own. I will shop at another location from now on based on this interaction, if she wants to be so hands on she should be on a regular cash register not the self checkouts

Constantly changing location of items. I know drive to Port Perry Canadian Tire. Service is odd in Lindsay. Seems the females up front and parts counter know where everything is. To bad the staff on the floor are not that experienced unless they use the cell to find it.
The Canadian tire money has declined also. Spent thousands on auto and got cents back in toy money.
People are busy these days and do not have time to run through a maze just to keep them on the stire and impulse shop or just walk out as I have several times.
As far as I am concerned that older gentleman that has worked the Parts counter. He knows his stuff and well experienced and great service.
No head office or owner , I do not wish to contact you as you have posted after each comment.
We just want you to listen to our reviews and act on them. Even if a small aspect.
Miss the old organized stire instead if money grab as it is now. Not warming at all as you walk in.

This store is a disaster. My family of 7 stood at the sporting goods counter, watching the dinosaur staff member ignore us repeatedly. He would make eye contact, laugh, then continue his conversation elsewhere with other staff and random customers. We CLEARLY had a fishing rod in our hands, and told them we had 1 question to ask. It took well over 15 minutes for another dinosaur to come out and give the saddest display of help I've ever seen..it's like it was a competition to see who is more useless between them... Our 1 question was finally answered with a huff and a puff from dinosaur #2 after the most embarrassing display of garbage we have ever seen. They have a very easy job and cannot do it...
I cannot believe people who have been on this planet for so long can act so callous and embarrassing as this.
What a joke the sports section is here thanks to the two old dudes who seem to have never worked a job in their life.
There are ZERO professionals here. Shop elsewhere.

The lady cashing me out let her political view out and she was absolutely disgusting with what she said. Keep your stupid opinions to yourself and stick to cashing people out. Won't be back. Wow.

They ordered the wrong parts 4 times for a friend's 2017 and almost 3 weeks to finally produce the proper and the vehicle sat in the driveway the whole time while they kept 200 of their's hostage until the parts were able to be returned after the continuous poor service and barely offered any compensation for their disastrous performance and they tool selection has been has been reorganized and in the improper areas throughout and the CTC locations, have a great day! F.

The tire centre attention was garbage. We brought our car in for alignment, they ended up finding out other issues that they didn’t have parts for and we weren’t ready to spend on, so decided to pick up the car. At pick up the employee made a comment: “Call us when you have money”, which is not only highly disrespectful, but also makes sure my family will no longer shop here for ANYTHING.

First store I've been to with a self checkout that doesn't have the hand held scanners... at a store with half its items being large and needing the hand scanner, you have to wonder who the genius behind this idea was. Clearly someone who has never worked at, or shopped at a canadian tire before.

Went in for an oil change and to get my car diagnosed as it was overheating. Was told they couldn’t diagnose it as it wasn’t overheating at the time. Get home and realize there is no coolant and it all leaked out and was able to fix it myself with a ratchet and socket. Then come to find there was little to no oil in my engine.
