Usually when you go to a grocery store that charges a premium, they sort of make up for it with better produce, a better bakery section, a better meat section, or better customer service. This place has none of those redeeming qualities justifying the premium, pretty much everything is worse than you’d expect.
I would probably never go here if it weren’t for the fact that this is the closest grocery to where I live.
I kid you not, there have been times where I’m missing an ingredient for something I want to make and I would rather make the 10-15 min drive to another store or make something entirely different than go here.

This store had items I had trouble finding locally. I got spices and herbs I couldn't find in Strathroy and a store person told me they had canning essentials. I was impressed by this store and the helpful staff!

All too many times have I brought home produce only to find it is bad. I did complain but never heard back. Dairy is also a problem, seems to be a refrigeration issue as both milk and cream go bad long before expiry. No its not my fridge, its brand new. Considering the demographics in the area one would think more focus on customer satisfaction would be in order.
Its now late August and no response. That in itself says it all.

This store is the perfect example of how to run one from the customers' view . Bake goods and staff were second to none. Very clean and well stocked, and many smiles make my shopping here always worthwhile.

Unfortunately Food Land Komoka has poor produce.
Sometimes even rotten on the shelves

Went to the deli just to be ignored and once I got someones attention treated rudely and mean. They staff also seemed to be mainly gossiping about another coworker

We were there only a couple times, and just getting a small amount of stuff, so this review isn't about selection or prices, but holy cow! I've never seen a cleaner, more thoughtfully and pleasantly laid out grocery in the United States or Canada! Just a beautiful store!
